[Termes IGN] TunisieRésumé : (auteur) The first geodetic observations began in Tunisia since the first observations between Tunisia and Italy in 1876. Until 2009, Tunisia had many geodetic terrestrial systems (Voirol, Carthage34, Carthage86,). In 2009, an official text gives the new definition of the new geodetic terrestrial system and the new map projection. In this paper, we present a brief historical of the Tunisian geodesy and the adoption of the new Tunisian geodetic terrestrial system. The methodology used to define the transformations between the old geodetic terrestrial networks and the new geodetic network is presented with the new official text of its application.
