The availability and readiness of geographic information is paramount in practically all software systems and services and this is strongly determined by the drive of people putting energy in data collection and improvement. Understanding the motivations of people to participate in this process is fundamental to leverage the design of new systems able to increase satisfaction and productivity. The introduction of game mechanisms in geographic crowdsourcing is the theme that we face in this research. The so-called gamification of applications has been widely used as a stimulant for involving people in serious activities that are hidden behind the gaming façade. Cooperation and competition are key factors that are promoted through the game. We synthesize a conceptual model that collects the main gaming techniques tailored for geographic data and that is the basis for the development of a gamification library. As a proof of concept, we deploy an Android app for geometric data collection inside buildings and test it in a university setting. The date of the enactment of this law was also the hour of birth for the Austrian Legal Boundary Cadastre (germ. der Grenzkataster) and with it a milestone to ensure the legal security of parcel boundaries. The jubilee is taken as the occasion to introduce the development, implementation and running of the Legal Boundary Cadastre to a wider scientific community. After a short history of the Austrian Cadastre, the process of its transition from the Fiscal Cadastre to the Legal Boundary Cadastre is documented in the article. The current situation with strengths and weaknesses of the system is outlined and scheduled developments are introduced. [Termes IGN] variation saisonnièreRésumé : (auteur) In this paper, which represents a continuation of the previous author's work, an inconstancy of GPS residual error ANOVA estimates and their variances are presented. For the purpose of the analysis, fixed solutions for all of the three coordinates, e (eastwards), n (northwards) and u (upwards), obtained by using ionosphere-free (L0) linear combination of double-difference phase observations in the processing of GPS data, were employed. The aim of the research was to consider the behaviour of variances of GPS residual error ANOVA estimates in time because there has not been any paper dealing with that issue so far. Herein, it turned out a seasonal pattern in related time series was present. In addition, it was concluded there was a difference in ANOVA estimate extreme values obtained when one considered daily data subsets compared to those obtained in the approach considering monthly data of the fixed solutions. GPS data collected at ending stations of a baseline of 40 km in length within a four-year period, involving the lowest and increased solar activity, were used in calculations.
