La Partie 1 présente l'évolution urbaine de Bangkok, l'organisation et les transformations urbaines, la problématique urbaine et la planification dans le plan national de développement socioéconomique. La Partie 2 concerne la méthodologie de Télédétection, les recherches sur la Télédétection en milieu urbain, les caractéristiques des éléments urbains de Bangkok, les analyses numérique et visuelle des données satellitaires de SPOT XS et P et LANDSAT TM (sauf la bande thermique). Les images multidates de 1986,1987 et 1989 ont été exploîtées, et les résultats entre les deux analyses évaluées. La partie 3 aborde les applications de l'analyse visuelle d'images satellitaires dans le plan de développement de Bangkok dans le cadre de Plan National de Développement Socio-économique, et également l'évaluation d'intérêt des données satellitaires en milieu urbain dans le cas de grande métropole comme Bangkok. Les images traitées et classées sont réalisées par photos sur écran et par imprimante à jet d'encre en couleur à différentes échelles, notamment 1:20.000, 1:25.000 et 1:50.000. [Termes IGN] variogrammeIndex. décimale : THESE Thèses et HDR Résumé : (Auteur) L'imagerie de télédétection à haute résolution spatiale est apparue en 1984 avec les premiers capteurs Thematic Mapper des satellites LANDSAT réduisant la surface de l'unité d'enregistrement élémentaire (pixel) de 6400 m à 900 m . Depuis 1986, les données SPOT HRV (Haute Résolution Visible) ont encore considérablement diminué cette surface jusqu'à 400 m et même 100 m , meilleure résolution actuelle pour un satellite en orbite héliosynchrone. L'amélioration de la technologie de ces capteurs (domaine visible et infrarouge proche) s'est accompagnée du développement de la spectrométrie imageante, principalement aéroportée, associant à une résolution spatiale décamétrique, la très haute résolution spectrale (étroites bandes du spectre électromagnétique). De plus, les études de radiométrie de terrain, simulant au sol les réponses spectrales dans les domaines de longueurs d'onde perçus depuis l'espace, se sont multipliées grâce à une meilleure définition des surfaces homogènes.
Les conditions d'affleurement des roches en pays à couverture végétale importante, comme les Cévennes et le Bas-Languedoc, nécessitent en préalable, la reconnaissance des liens entre les signatures spectrales (luminance ou réflectance) et la nature du couvert végétal et pédologique, de la morphologie, des types de réseaux hydrographiques, etc. Nous avons essentiellement développé nos approches à l'aide de l'imagerie SPOT-HRV. Nous montrons par une démarche interdisciplinaire associant la botanique, la géomorphologie, la géochimie, la géophysique, la stratigraphie, la tectonique et la métallogénie, que cette imagerie numérique renouvelle l'approche analytique et interprétative des paysages à des fins géologiques. Plusieurs campagnes de radiométrie de terrain à l'aide du radiomètre CIMEL, simulant au sol les longueurs d'onde du capteur HRV de SPOT, permettent d'étalonner les mesures sur les roches et sur la végétation. Des enregistrements aéroportés multispectraux (0,5 à 2,5 /µn) de l'instrument GERIS (Geophysical Environmental Research Imaging Spectrometer) sont évalués pour la première fois en France, en vue de la cartographie d'objets géologiques.
L'illustration principale de l'approche interdisciplinaire est la découverte, par segmentation de l'image en unités de paysage, associée à des traitements numériques spécifiques, d'une relation entre la réponse spectrale anomale de groupements arborés monospécifiques de hêtres, un déficit des sols en certains cations (manganèse) et la présence de dépôts d'âge stéphano-autunien jusqu'alors non identifiés sur le Mont Lozère, partie occidentale du système de Villefort. Une étude structurale et stratigraphique détaillée a permis l'insertion de ces dépôts dans la chronologie des événements tectoniques tardi-hercyniens. Les modifications anatomiques au niveau de la feuille de hêtre, cause histologique de la réponse spectrale particulière, sont également expliquées. En outre, les études structurales menées conjointement à partir de l'analyse des images (cartographie télé-analytique, notamment) et sur le terrain ont permis de préciser la cinématique de certaines failles cévenoles (faille de Villefort, faille des Cévennes, etc. ) et de reconnaître des systèmes tectono-magmatiques liés aux minéralisations intra-et périplutoniques du socle cévenol ou au magmatisme alcalin oligocène du Montpelliérais.
L'objectif de cette étude était de définir et de mettre en oeuvre une méthodologie d'analyse des données satellitaires à haute résolution spatiale, puis de tester ses apports pour la connaissance géologique d'une région tempérée.
