[Termes IGN] positionnement par GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Mixed integer–real least squares (MIRLS) estimation still has two open scientific problems, i.e., the validation of results and computational efficiency for a large number of satellites. This paper presents and discusses a non-conventional approach to MIRLS estimation, which belongs to the ambiguity function method (AFM) class. Because the solution is searched for in the constant three-dimensional coordinate domain instead of the n-dimensional ambiguity domain, the computational efficiency does not depend as much on the number of satellites as it does in conventional MIRLS estimation. Simple numerical pretests have shown that the reliability and precision of results from the presented approach and the conventional MIRLS estimation are exactly the same. Hence, the presented approach, contrary to AFM, may be treated as MIRLS estimation. Furthermore, the presented approach is a few hundred times faster than AFM and may be considered in (near) real-time GNSS positioning. In light of the above, the new field of research on MIRLS estimation may be opened. [Termes IGN] Global Geodetic Observing SystemRésumé : (auteur) The Standing Committee on Performance Simulations and Architectural Trade-Offs (PLATO) was established by the Bureau of Networks and Observations of the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) in order to support – by prior performance analysis – activities to reach the GGOS requirements for the accuracy and stability of the terrestrial reference frame. Based on available data sets and simulated observations for further stations and satellite missions the committee studies the impact of technique-specific improvements, new stations, and additional co-locations in space on reference frame products. Simulation studies carried out so far show the importance of the individual station performance and additional stations for satellite laser ranging, the perspectives for lunar laser ranging assuming additional stations and reflectors, and the significant impact of the new VGOS antennas. Significant progress is achieved in processing VLBI satellite tracking data. New insights in technique-specific error sources were derived based on real data from short baselines. Regarding co-location in space PLATO members confirmed that E-GRASP could fulfill the GGOS requirements with reaching a geocenter and scale accuracy and stability of 1 mm and 0.1 mm/year, respectively. [Termes IGN] retard troposphérique
[Termes IGN] retard troposphérique zénithalRésumé : (auteur) Tropospheric delay is one of the deleterious factors limiting the accuracy of the precise Global Navigation Satellite Systems positioning. The value of delay depends on the path through which a signal has to follow in the subsurface layers of the atmosphere. Tropospheric delay models are developed to overcome this limitation. Among them one can find UNB, TropGrid or IGGtrop models. In this paper, we adjusted the UNB3m model to the actual meteorological parameters from Europe. A new model was called UNBe.eu covering the EGNOS augmentation system area. The use of meteorological observations helped us to decrease the bias for more than 70% of reference radio sounding locations. Still, 30% of reference sites depicted a lack of any improvements of the ZTD estimation with regard to the newly established model. Therefore, this study puts forward a need for a deeper investigation of the discussed issue.
