[Termes IGN] protection de la vie privéeRésumé : (auteur) The widespread use of personal geospatial data raises serious geoprivacy concerns for sharing these data, which may limit the reproducibility of research findings. One widely used method for securely sharing confidential geospatial information is applying geomasking techniques before sharing. Geomasking may reduce the usability of the data. Thus, researchers need to strike a balance between privacy protection and analytical accuracy. Although many geomasking methods have been proposed, there is no systematic evaluation of these methods or guidance on which method to use and how to apply it properly. To address this gap, we evaluate eight geomasking methods with simulated geospatial data with various spatial patterns and investigate their performance on privacy protection and analytical accuracy. We propose not only a set of preliminary guidelines for applying the proper geomasking methods when using different spatial analysis methods but also an evaluation framework for assessing geomasking methods for other spatial analysis methods. The findings will help researchers to properly apply geomasking for sensitive geospatial data and thus promote data sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration while protecting personal geoprivacy. [Termes IGN] traitement du langage naturelRésumé : (auteur) Multisource point of interest (POI) matching refers to the pairing of POIs that refer to the same geographic entity in different data sources. This also constitutes the core issue in geospatial data fusion and update. The existing methods cannot effectively capture the complex semantic information from a text, and the manually defined rules largely affect matching results. This study developed a multisource POI matching method based on deep learning that transforms the POI pair matching problem into a binary classification problem. First, we used three different Chinese word segmentation methods to segment the POI text attributes and used the segmentation results to train the Word2Vec model to generate the corresponding word vector representation. Then, we used the text convolutional neural network (Text-CNN) and multilayer perceptron (MLP) to extract the POI attributes' features and generate the corresponding feature vector representation. Finally, we used the enhanced sequential inference model (ESIM) to perform local inference and inference combination on each attribute to realize the classification of POI pairs. We used the POI dataset containing Baidu Map, Tencent Map, and Gaode Map from Chengdu to train, verify, and test the model. The experimental results show that the matching precision, recall rate, and F1 score of the proposed method exceed 98% on the test set, and it is significantly better than the existing matching methods. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) At a time when the impacts of climate change and increasing urbanization are making risk management more complex, there is an urgent need for tools to better support risk managers. One approach increasingly used in crisis management is preventive mass evacuation. However, to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of such strategy can be complex, especially in large urban areas. Modeling approaches, and in particular agent-based models, are used to support implementation and to explore a large range of evacuation strategies, which is impossible through drills. One major limitation with simulation of traffic based on individual mobility models is their capacity to reproduce a context of mixed traffic. In this paper, we propose an agent-based model with the capacity to overcome this limitation. We simulated and compared different spatio-temporal evacuation strategies in the flood-prone landlocked area of the Phúc Xá district in Hanoi. We demonstrate that the interaction between distribution of transport modalities and evacuation strategies greatly impact evacuation outcomes. More precisely, we identified staged strategies based on the proximity to exit points that make it possible to reduce time spent on road and overall evacuation time. In addition, we simulated improved evacuation outcomes through selected modification of the road network. [Termes IGN] réseau sémantiqueRésumé : (auteur) Big earth data is a cross-domain of geoscience and information science, which provides a novel perspective for solving geoscience problems. Most contemporary research is driven by data but neglect the potential value of knowledge. As a new scientific language in Geoscience, GeoKG is essential for understanding, representing, and mining geoscience knowledge, and can contribute to the integration of big earth data, geoscience knowledge, and geoscience models. However, research on GeoKG lack spatiotemporal perspectives in knowledge cognition, representation, acquisition and management. To this end, this article first outlines a cognitive mechanism from the human–machine double perspective and categorizes the characteristics and content of geoscience knowledge. To express evolution and complex natural rules, a knowledge representation framework is proposed through ‘state-process’ and ‘condition-result’ models. Aiming at multimodal data, a workflow is put forward to acquire knowledge from a small sample, a knowledge graph, a map, and a schematic diagram. Furthermore, we discuss the organization of GeoKG by improving existing data models, developing spatiotemporal correlation indexing and advancing knowledge graph completion. The concrete construction process of GeoKG is analyzed thoroughly in this study, which can support the synthetic analysis of big earth data, promote the development of knowledge engineering and provide a foundation for improving intelligent geoscience. [Termes IGN] règle d'urbanismeRésumé : (auteur) Parcels are the smallest units of land usually considered for urban development purposes. Analyses at the parcel level allow taking into account the administrative and physical environment of buildings with accuracy (roads, surrounding buildings, local design rules for building construction). In this article, we propose a free and open source software application, namely Parcel Manager, whose aims are twofold: (1) to assess the effects of different parcel reshaping rules and planning principles on the location, the number, and the shape of reshaped parcels; and (2) to provide a basis to assess the potential for new building construction. To this end, Parcel Manager simulates a large variety of parcel reshaping processes, with or without the joint creation of new roads, and produces realistic parcel layouts that represent either infill urban developments, edge expansions, or leapfrog developments. It can be used to determine if the densification of built parcels is feasible or not, regarding planning and design rules as well as the current urban fabric. The current version of Parcel Manager only concerns the reshaping of parcels dedicated to the construction of residential buildings but not other types of buildings.
