[Vedettes matières IGN] GénéralisationRésumé : (Auteur) OpenStreetMap data comprise of very detailed (e.g. zebra crossing) and quite rough features (e.g. built-up area). But making large scale maps from data with inconsistent level of detail often blurs map comprehension. This paper explores the automatic harmonization of OpenStreetMap data for large scale maps, i.e. the process that transforms rough objects to make them consistent with detailed objects. A typology of the new operators that harmonization requires is presented and six algorithms that implement the operators are described. Experiments with these algorithms raise several research questions about automation, parametrization, or the level of abstraction of the transformation, which are discussed in the paper.

This paper outlines a national geodetic and cartographic resources in Poland. The national geodetic and cartographic resources are an important part of the spatial information infrastructure in the European Community. They also provide reference data for other resources of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI), including: main and detailed geodetic control networks, base maps, land and buildings registries, geodetic registries of utilities and topographic maps. This paper presents methods of producing digital map data and technical standards for field surveys, and in addition paper also presents some aspects of building Global and Regional SDI. [Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (auteur) We propose a new methodology for large-scale urban 3D scene analysis in terms of automatically assigning 3D points the respective semantic labels. The methodology focuses on simplicity and reproducibility of the involved components as well as performance in terms of accuracy and computational efficiency. Exploiting a variety of low-level 2D and 3D geometric features, we further improve their distinctiveness by involving individual neighborhoods of optimal size. Due to the use of individual neighborhoods, the methodology is not tailored to a specific dataset, but in principle designed to process point clouds with a few millions of 3D points. Consequently, an extension has to be introduced for analyzing huge 3D point clouds with possibly billions of points for a whole city. For this purpose, we propose an extension which is based on an appropriate partitioning of the scene and thus allows a successive processing in a reasonable time without affecting the quality of the classification results. We demonstrate the performance of our methodology on two labeled benchmark datasets with respect to robustness, efficiency, and scalability. [Termes IGN] modèle conceptuel de donnéesRésumé : (auteur) An increasing amount of data available in different localization references is a barrier to future development of the transport community. The aim of the project LASDIM is to create a totally open environment that enables to explore, visualize, disseminate or re-use data in a common geo-localization reference. This will require specifying and building a new data model, authoritative reference and attractive for the data or service providers. The Claire-SITI platform will be used as an intelligent and multimodal system able to manage both the public transport and the road transport. The project will allow for global brainstorming on fast and real-time exchange of information with the aim of reducing the negative impact of transport. This will be a brand-new feature encouraging positive behavior changes in and allow lower traffic congestion, reduce pollution levels and optimize emergency-response time.
