[Termes IGN] RTKLIBRésumé : (auteur) In this work, we investigate the effectiveness of a method leveraging multi-GNSS positioning with low-cost receiver to control the accuracy of a set of predefined points with short time acquisition and reduced sky view factor. Final accuracy is required to be sub-meter level. 20 positions located in Tokyo (Japan) have been observed for 6 minutes with a u-blox NEO M8T receiver and a L1-band antenna. Solutions have been computed with the free software RTKlib, for different combinations of satellite constellations. Eventually, we derived a probabilistic upper bound on the controlled points root mean square error (rmse) based on Rayleigh distribution and the central limit theorem. Results highlighted that completing GPS with one additional constellation may markedly reduce the predicted rmse as well as the convergence time. The gain in accuracy has been found to be more moderated when a maximal number of constellations is added, despite solution is reached much faster. We shall notice however that these findings may be dependent upon the selected mask angle for the computation. Some further analysis is also required to assess more precisely the respective contributions of GLONASS and Beidou systems in the overall enhancement. All global and regional satellite navigation systems, both those currently in operation and those under development (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, IRNSS/NAVIC, SBAS), are examined in detail. The functional principles of receivers and antennas, as well as the advanced algorithms and models for GNSS parameter estimation, are rigorously discussed. The book covers the broad and diverse range of land, marine, air and space applications, from everyday GNSS to high-precision scientific applications and provides detailed descriptions of the most widely used GNSS format standards, covering receiver formats as well as IGS product and meta-data formats. The full coverage of the field of GNSS is presented in seven parts, from its fundamentals, through the treatment of global and regional navigation satellite systems, of receivers and antennas, and of algorithms and models, up to the broad and diverse range of applications in the areas of positioning and navigation, surveying, geodesy and geodynamics, and remote sensing and timing. Each chapter is written by international experts and amply illustrated with figures and photographs, making the book an invaluable resource for scientists, engineers, students and institutions alike. [Termes IGN] transfert radiatifRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a method for estimating the solar transmittance of urban trees using airborne light detection and ranging (LiDAR), and the radiative transfer simulation of vegetation. The leaf area density (LAD) distribution of trees with voxel size 1 m × 1 m × 0.5 m is estimated using high-resolution and multireturn airborne LiDAR data. The LAD of voxels having few incident laser beams is corrected from the surrounding voxels. The LAD of the periphery of the crown is discretized into 0.5 m × 0.5 m × 0.5 m voxels to accurately calculate the shaded area. The resulting LAD distribution is used in a radiative transfer simulation to calculate the solar transmittance of the trees. We verified the accuracy of the calculated transmittance by comparing it with empirical data for a Zelkova serrata. The comparisons were conducted under different angles of incidence of laser beams and solar radiation. When the angle between the incident laser beams and solar radiation was small, the transmittance could be accurately estimated. The LAD correction enabled the method to be applied to a broader range of the angle between beams and solar radiation. When the zenith angle of the incident laser beams was small ( Numéro de notice : A2016-903 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE Nature : Article nature-HAL : ArtAvecCL-RevueIntern DOI : 10.1109/TGRS.2016.2565699 En ligne : http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/TGRS.2016.2565699 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=83097

[Termes IGN] soleil (étoile)Résumé : (auteur) Satellite antenna phase center offsets for the Galileo In-Orbit Validation (IOV) and Full Operational Capability (FOC) satellites are estimated by two different analysis centers based on tracking data of a global GNSS network. The mean x- and y-offsets could be determined with a precision of a few centimeters. However, daily estimates of the x-offsets of the IOV satellites show pronounced systematic effects with a peak-to-peak amplitude of up to 70 cm that depend on the orbit model and the elevation of the Sun above the orbital plane. For the IOV y-offsets, no dependence on the orbit model exists but the scatter strongly depends on the elevation of the Sun above the orbital plane. In general, these systematic effects are significantly smaller for the FOC satellites. The z-offsets of the two analysis centers agree within the 10–15 cm level, and the time series do not show systematic effects. The application of an averaged Galileo satellite antenna model obtained from the two solutions results in a reduction of orbit day boundary discontinuities by up to one third—even if an independent software package is used.
