[Termes IGN] seuillage d'imageRésumé : (Auteur) The detection of multiple changes (i.e., different kinds of change) in multitemporal remote sensing images is a complex problem. When multispectral images having B spectral bands are considered, an effective solution to this problem is to exploit all available spectral channels in the framework of supervised or partially supervised approaches. However, in many real applications, it is difficult/impossible to collect ground truth information for either multitemporal or single-date images. On the opposite, unsupervised methods available in the literature are not effective in handling the full information present in multispectral and multitemporal images. They usually consider a simplified subspace of the original feature space having small dimensionality and, thus, characterized by a possible loss of change information. In this paper, we present a framework for the detection of multiple changes in bitemporal and multispectral remote sensing images that allows one to overcome the limits of standard unsupervised methods. The framework is based on the following: 1) a compressed yet efficient 2-D representation of the change information and 2) a two-step automatic decision strategy. The effectiveness of the proposed approach has been tested on two bitemporal and multispectral data sets having different properties. Results obtained on both data sets confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach. [Termes IGN] turbulenceRésumé : (Auteur) A large part of geodetic sensor systems use electromagnetic radiation to determine the measurement values (distances, directions, etc.). The geometry of the path of propagation and the velocity of the electromagnetic wave is strongly influenced by the physical state of the atmosphere. As most geodetic measurements are performed in the lower atmosphere, the study of refraction and of corresponding impact constitutes a key research field. In geodesy, the refractive index represents a common way to describe the terrestrial refraction - the literature refers to different methods for determining this value. Our study presents a method for the determination of the influence of refraction on the basis of optical measurements. The mathematical derivation is based on well-known equations - the combination of different approaches leads to a uniform processing sequence which can easily be implemented. We present the theoretical foundations, details about the implementation and some preliminary tests. [Termes IGN] temps de propagationRésumé : (Auteur) Time of flight range cameras simultaneously gather object distances for all pixels of a focal plane array by evaluating the round-trip time of an emitted signal. While ranging precisions typically amount to some centimeters, accuracies may be worse by an order of magnitude. Scattering is one of the sources of systematic errors, caused by the spreading of portions of the incident light over the sensor due to multiple reflections between the sensor, lens and optical filter. The present contribution analyses this phenomenon with respect to various capture parameters, with the objective of achieving a better understanding and a validation of assumptions. Subsequently, the authors derive both image space invariant and variant models for scattering, apply them to test scenes, and compare the results to each other and to those of existing methods.
