[Termes IGN] troposphèreRésumé : (auteur) Water vapour is a highly variable constituent of the troposphere; thus, its high-resolution measurements are of great importance to weather prediction systems. The Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are operationally used in the estimation of the tropospheric state and assimilation of the results into the weather models. One of the GNSS techniques of troposphere sensing is tomography which provides 3-D fields of wet refractivity. The tomographic results have been successfully assimilated into the numerical weather models, showing the great potential of this technique. The GNSS tomography can be based on two different approaches to the parameterisation of the model’s domain, i.e. block (voxel-based) or grid (node-based) approach. Regardless of the parameterisation approach, the tomographic domain should be discretised, which is usually performed in a regular manner, with a grid resolution depending on the mean distance between the GNSS receivers. In this work, we propose a new parameterisation approach based on the optimisation of the tomographic nodes’ location, taking into account the non-uniform distribution of the GNSS information in the troposphere. The experiment was performed using a dense network of 16 low-cost multi-GNSS receivers located in Wrocław and its suburbs, with a mean distance of 3 km. Cross-validation of four different parameterisation approaches is presented. The validation is performed based on the Weather Research and Forecasting model as well as radiosonde observations. The new approach improves the results of wet refractivity estimation by 0.5–2 ppm in terms of RMSE, especially for altitudes of 0.5–2.0 km. However, as the number of camera poses and features grows, refinement through bundle adjustment becomes inefficient. Inspired by global motion averaging methods, we propose a new bundle adjustment objective which does not rely on image features' reprojection errors yet maintains precision on par with classical BA. Our method averages over relative motions while implicitly incorporating the contribution of the structure in the adjustment. To that end, we weight the objective function by local hessian matrices-a by-product of local bundle adjustments performed on relative motions (eg, pairs or triplets) during the pose initialisation step. Such hessians are extremely rich as they encapsulate both the features' random errors and the geometric configuration between the cameras. These pieces of information propagated to the global frame help to guide the final optimisation in a more rigorous way. We argue that this approach is an upgraded version of the motion averaging approach and demonstrate its effectiveness on both photogrammetric datasets and computer vision benchmarks. [Termes IGN] système de numérisation mobileRésumé : (auteur) The study aims to find a low-cost alternate technology to get imagery, using mobile platform, and produce digital orthophoto for corridor mapping, with a higher degree of accuracy and which can reduce the lag time of acquisition of data. The present study uses digital single-lens reflex cameras, mounted on a mobile vehicle, and acquisition of data in the video format rather than still photographs, as traditionally used in mobile mapping systems. The videos are used to create a set of images and orthophotos. A widespread ground control points were recorded in the study area, using the global navigation satellite system receiver, which measured the control points in real-time kinematic mode. Generation of digital orthophoto has been completed using the captured mobile imagery and ground control point. Furthermore, procurement of satellite imagery and aerial triangulation using ground control points have been done. While comparing the planimetric accuracy of orthophoto against satellite imagery using the ground control points, the achieved root mean square error value of produced orthophoto is 0.171 m in X axis and 0.205 m in Y axis. However, for Cartosat -1 satellite imagery, the RMSE value for X is 1.22 m and for Y is 1.98 m. This research proposes the alternate low-cost mobile mapping method to capture the imagery for orthophoto production. The cost of orthophoto production from mobile image was found 77% cheaper than the orthophoto cost from fresh/latest satellite imagery procurement, while the overall production was 70% cost-effective than the orthophoto maps made from archived imagery. [Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (auteur) Unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) segmentation aims to leverage labeled source data to make accurate predictions on unlabeled target data. The key is to make the segmentation network learn domain-invariant representations. In this work, we propose a prototype-guided multitask adversarial network (PMAN) to achieve this. First, we propose an intensity-aware segmentation network (IAS-Net) that leverages the private intensity information of target data to substantially facilitate feature learning of the target domain. Second, the category-level cross-domain feature alignment strategy is introduced to flee the side effects of global feature alignment. It employs the prototype (class centroid) and includes two essential operations: 1) build an auxiliary nonparametric classifier to evaluate the semantic alignment degree of each point based on the prediction consistency between the main and auxiliary classifiers and 2) introduce two class-conditional point-to-prototype learning objectives for better alignment. One is to explicitly perform category-level feature alignment in a progressive manner, and the other aims to shape the source feature representation to be discriminative. Extensive experiments reveal that our PMAN outperforms state-of-the-art results on two benchmark datasets. [Termes IGN] image multi sourcesRésumé : (auteur) Remote sensing image change detection remains a challenging task. Most existing approaches are based on fully supervised learning, but labeled data are so scarce for change detection. It is difficult to exhibit high detection performance with a limited amount of labeled data. In this paper, we propose a semi-supervised Label Propagation (SSLP) approach for multi-source remote sensing image change detection. First, a clustering label propagation (CLP) method is designed to cluster pre and post images, respectively, and assign pseudo labels to unlabeled pixel pairs that have similar mapping relationships to labeled pixel pairs. Second, a pixel density metric is investigated to filter out the data with low density and retain the data with high density, which can ensure the reliability of the propagated data. Third, a secondary expansion method based on pixel neighborhood is used to generate enough training data for training a classifier. Finally, the effectiveness of SSLP is validated on three real datasets by comparing to other related methods.
