[Termes IGN] risque naturelRésumé : (Editeur) Quelle que soit sa démarche, la climatologie est très demandeuse d’information géographique, même si quantifier cette dernière entraîne une perte d’information, nécessaire dès lors qu’interviendront des calculs. Cette information géographique va être confrontée aux variables climatologiques obtenues à partir d’un réseau de stations au sol, ou de données satellitaires, dans un but de modélisation plus ou moins élaborée. Ainsi, la production des modèles physiques climatologiques et météorologiques suppose la représentation la plus complète possible de la surface de la planète interagissant avec l’atmosphère. De même, l’approche statistique cherchant à interpoler, reconstituer un champ de variables (température, précipitations, etc.) moyen ou instantané s’appuiera sur des informations géographiques, différentes selon que la technique utilisée est fondée sur l’auto-corrélation spatiale ou sur des régressions environnementales. Dans le domaine du risque, cette logique peut également être appliquée à des variables composites comme des indices de risque météorologique. L’information géographique n’est toutefois pas un outil inerte, neutre et indépendant de son époque. Note de contenu : Préambule

Ce traité, produit dans ce contexte, fait la promotion d'une approche transdisciplinaire d'analyse et de modélisation des dynamiques urbaines. [Termes IGN] réseau routierIndex. décimale : PROJET Mémoires : Rapports de projet - stage des ingénieurs de 2e année Résumé : (Auteur) Le projet pluridisciplinaire s'est déroulé au sein de l'Institut de Gestion de l'Environnement et d'Aménagement du Territoire de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles. Il s'inscrit dans un projet plus large, le projet ARC « Les élites dans la ville » qui a pour objectif de déterminer le rôle joué par les groupes élitaires dans l'aménagement de la ville de Bruxelles depuis le 18ème siècle. L'objectif du stage est de fournir à l'équipe du projet ARC des fonds de plans vectoriels du réseau viaire de la région bruxelloise depuis 1860 qui serviront de support à la localisation des groupes élitaires sur la période 1860 - 1997. Ces couches vectorielles sont construites par downdating de couches existantes. Une analyse temporelle des changements qui ont affecté le réseau viaire depuis 1860 est ensuite réalisée afin de donner à l'équipe du projet ARC une vision globale de l'évolution de l'aménagement du réseau. Cette analyse consiste en l'élaboration de cartes montrant la profondeur temporelle du réseau et les principales zones affectées par l'évolution du réseau. Enfin, la configuration spatiale du réseau au moyen d'outils de syntaxe spatiale est étudiée à chaque date. L'intégration globale de chaque tronçon est calculée et des cartes montrent l'évolution de la configuration spatiale du réseau viaire depuis 1860. Note de contenu : Introduction
