[Termes IGN] transformation IWSTRésumé : (auteur) The paper analyses the possibility of increasing efficiency of the Iterative Weighted Similarity Transformation (IWST) method, which is a prototype of classic robust methods, using global optimisation approach instead of classical one, available in the literature. For the purpose of solving the optimisation problem of the IWST method, in addition to the Iterative Reweighted Least Squares (IRLS) method, the Genetic algorithm (GA) and Generalised Particle Swarm Optimisation (GPSO) algorithm were applied, in order to overcome some flaws of IRLS method. Experimental research was performed based on the Monte Carlo simulation using the mean success rate (MSR) on the example of the geodetic control network for monitoring the Šelevrenac dam in the Republic of Serbia. By using the GA and GPSO algorithms, the overall efficiency of the IWST method has been increased by about 18% compared to the IRLS method. Also, it has been determined that the efficiency of the IRLS method significantly reduces with the increase in the number of displaced potential reference points (PRPs), while the GA and GPSO algorithms’ efficiency does not change significantly. The values of overall absolute true errors due to the increased number of displaced PRPs in the GA and GPSO algorithms did not change notably while with the IRLS method their values increased significantly. [Termes IGN] Vienne (capitale Autriche)Résumé : (auteur) We present a comprehensive methodological framework for structural deformation monitoring of critical infrastructure assets based on differential SAR interferometry. By employing persistent scatterer interferometry, deformation time series in line-of-sight are derived from freely available Sentinel-1 single look complex products. These raw time series are analysed and refined using an extensive post-processing chain to obtain daily rates for vertical and horizontal deformation components. The post-processing includes cleaning, smoothing and a temperature correction to account for different sensing times in ascending and descending orbits. Longitudinal clustering of time series is used to reveal spatial patterns in the single epoch deformation series. Seasonal trend decomposition of the aggregated time series is performed to separate deformation trends from seasonal deformations. The applicability of the framework is showcased at the example of an integral concrete bridge located in the port of Vienna. Results are validated against in situ deformation measurements. The presented framework constitutes a blueprint for the continuous monitoring of critical infrastructure assets using satellite interferometry, which may supplement conventional structural health monitoring. [Termes IGN] WebSIGRésumé : (auteur) Integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information System (GIS) can benefit both the Architecture, Engineering and Construction/Facility Management (AEC/FM) domain, and the geospatial industry. For GIS, BIM is a promising source of three-dimensional (3D) building information that can be used in the study of smart city, green building, big data, etc. The underlying data transformation from Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) to shapefile enables GIS to use the rich building information. However, this transformation is difficult due to the different modelling methods used by IFC and shapefile. IFC generally represents 3D objects using boundary representation (Brep), swept solid, constructive solid geometry (CSG), clipping and mapped representation, while shapefile only uses Brep. In addition, the use of different coordinate systems also contributes to the geometry transformation issue. Among all the solid modelling methods used by IFC, Brep and swept solid are the most often used two methods. Compared with Brep, the transformation of swept solid is more challenging as each type of profile for swept solid defined in IFC has to be properly interpreted and converted. This paper develops algorithms to interpret the commonly used profiles of swept solid for the transformation of IFC into shapefile. A bridge model is used to validate the proposed method, and a Web GIS-based bridge management system is developed to demonstrate a possible usage of the transformed shapefile model.
