[Termes IGN] système d'information géographiqueIndex. décimale : THESE Thèses et HDR Résumé : (auteur) Les champs géographiques continus sont généralement représentés par des ensembles de points-échantillons ou d'attributs sur des zones privilégiées, ce qui conduit à des discontinuités dans les valeurs d'attribut ou à des homogénéisations de ces valeurs qui ne correspondent pas à la réalité. La solution réside dans l'interpolation et l'extrapolation à partir des valeurs connues des champs continus, et de contraintes sur le réalisme de l'estimation. Une nouvelle méthode d'estimation est alors proposée, reposant sur les résultats de la méthode des différences finies, et le modèle de réseau neuronal de Hopfield. Une modélisation orientée objet des champs continus permet de prendre en compte des contraintes spécifiées sur l'estimation. Un nouveau type abstrait de données est défini pour le typage d'attributs dérivant d'un champ continu. Enfin, un nouveau langage est spécifié, permettant la déclaration et la manipulation des champs continus et des informations nécessaires à l'estimation de ces champs. Note de contenu : 1.
