[Termes IGN] radar à antenne synthétiqueRésumé : (Auteur) The presence of speckle in SAR images reduces the ability to perceive fine details and rules out a visual perception of systematic structures that would make it possible to describe a specific feature of the earth's surface and makes the radiometric and textural aspects less efficient for class discrimination. Many adaptive filters have been developed for speckle reduction and they are based on a test related to the local coefficient of variation of the observed image, which describes the heterogeneity of the scene. In this paper, the well-known non linear adaptive filters such as Frost, Wu, and Nezry filters are presented, and considering the limitations of the analysed filters and the good results achieved using the ratio edge extraction, a modified adaptive speckle filter has been implemented based on both geometrical and statistical properties (coefficient of variation) of the local area. The procedure has depended on several parameters such as window size, the width of the linear features, the thresholds, the values of Cu (coefficient of variation of multiplicative noise) and Cmax(the maximum value of the distribution of Cu). The successful use of the ratio edge and line detectors has been employed in adaptive speckle filter, in order to apply the enhanced frost version in every window or subwindow selected. As was expected, the new filter performs better, i.e., we can achieve very good smoothing in the homogeneous areas preserving, at the same time, structural and textural information, edges, linear features. The filters are tested on a ERS-1 SAR image corresponding to an area of southern Algeria called Laghouat. The good results obtained and the improvements with respect to the classic algorithms are presented and discussed. [Termes IGN] texture d'imageRésumé : (Auteur) This paper describes an approach to textural classification of remote sensing images. This study concerns the potential use of high spatial resolution textural features to identify different covers and discriminate between various surface types. These textural features are computed from grey-level cooccurrence matrix statistics at various pixel displacement distances. Textural classification is then performed using textural signatures. The approach is applied to a SPOT multispectral scanner data of the north of Algeria. [Termes IGN] système d'information géographiqueRésumé : (Auteur) The conditions of an unexpected arrival of a flood depend directly on the hydrological behaviour of a watershed. As a Consequence, the study of flooding fields involve the knowledge of certain meteorological and physiographic characteristic of the zone of study. The work shows the contribution of Remote Sensing, a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) hydrologically consistent and GIS in the fields of water rising, the cartography of fields and their integration in a coherent set. Each time, an important rain falls on a given region of the country, we expect floods. To apprehend these floods, it is important to understand the water cycle and its various interactions with the physical medium and to give bigger importance to the rain water draining. This attention has become obvious the (past) years with the advent of a number of rain simulation watershed models. The spatio-temporal characterisation of a watershed with a GIS with different resolutions, the suitability of a deterministic hydrologic model of a conceptual type, distributed and meshed and the height flow transformation will be traited. The visualisation of the affected zones by floods was reported on DTM. The application was made on a watershed of 60 km of “Oued El Moligoun” which is situated on the upwards the city of Arzew (ALGERIA).
