[Termes IGN] zone à risqueRésumé : (auteur) This study presents a methodology for conducting sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of a GIS-based multi-criteria model used to assess flood vulnerability in a case study in Brazil. The paper explores the robustness of model outcomes against slight changes in criteria weights. One criterion was varied at-a-time, while others were fixed to their baseline values. An algorithm was developed using Python and a geospatial data abstraction library to automate the variation of weights, implement the ANP (analytic network process) tool, reclassify the raster results, compute the class switches, and generate an uncertainty surface. Results helped to identify highly vulnerable areas that are burdened by high uncertainty and to investigate which criteria contribute to this uncertainty. Overall, the criteria ‘houses with improper building material’ and ‘evacuation drills and training’ are the most sensitive ones, thus, requiring more accurate measurements. The sensitivity of these criteria is explained by their weights in the base run, their spatial distribution, and the spatial resolution. These findings can support decision makers to characterize, report, and mitigate uncertainty in vulnerability assessment. The case study results demonstrate that the developed approach is simple, flexible, transparent, and may be applied to other complex spatial problems. [Termes IGN] valeur aberranteRésumé : (Auteur) Image matching is a basic task in the field of photogrammetry and remote sensing. By using the advantages of the Delaunay triangulation, this paper proposes a novel image matching method. First, neighboring structures of randomly distributed feature points are formed with the assistance of the Delaunay triangulation and its corresponding graph, and the image planes are simultaneously divided into patches of near-regular triangles. Second, two constraints, a photometric constraint and a geometric constraint, are implemented based on the constructed neighboring structures, which incorporate the hierarchical elimination and left-right checking strategies to deliver the influences of outliers on the decision of inliers and ensure the high precision of the final matches. The former utilizes a line descriptor as a second-order photometric constraint, and the latter adopts the spatial angular order (SAO) to achieve a geometric constraint for the calculation of dissimilarity scores between correspondences. In addition, with the constraints between triangles of the refined Delaunay triangulation and its corresponding graph, a match expansion is designed to exploit as many inliers as possible. Finally, a reliable image matching algorithm is proposed by sequentially executing the three constraints for outlier elimination and match expansion. Under comprehensive analysis and comparison with five state-of-the-art algorithms, the performance of the proposed method is verified by using both rigid and non-rigid datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the Delaunay triangulation is sufficient to construct neighboring structures for the implementation of local photometric and geometric constraints, and the proposed method can achieve good performance in terms of the precision, recall and number of inliers, and provide reliable matches for stereo image pairs with both rigid and non-rigid transformations. [Termes IGN] OpenStreetMapRésumé : (Auteur) Audio files entered cartography about 25 years ago. Since the mid-1990s, several examples of audiovisual maps have been created and published. These maps cover a diverse range of applications. In terms of the sound elements implemented, four characteristic variants were mainly used: abstract sounds/sound sequences, language recordings, and music and recordings/simulations of the real soundscape. To built audiovisual maps technically, several tools of animation software solutions were intensively explored. The rising importance of the World Wide Web also increased the demand for new and modern web-based approaches of multimedia cartography. One of the core technologies of the Internet is the programming language JavaScript (JS). The language is often associated with the so-called libraries which are applied programming packages pre-written for particular purposes. In cartography, one of the most popular and widely used JS libraries is leaflet.js. This open-source library is known for its simplicity and, meanwhile, it also supports a straightforward integration of multimedia content, such as audio files. It also teams up with HTML5 and CSS3. This paper intends to give a workflow focused on how to create individual audiovisual web mapping applications based on the contemporary options offered by leaflet.js. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) Real-time precise GNSS satellite orbit and clock products are the prerequisite of real-time GNSS-based applications. To obtain real-time GNSS satellite orbit and clock, three approaches exist currently, namely, the prediction-estimation approach, the prediction-correction approach and the estimation approach. Different from the former two approaches, which are based on the predicted orbit, the last approach estimates orbit and clock in an integrated way, thus it is the most rigorous one. However, the simultaneously estimation of both orbit and clock parameters makes it very time-consuming. In this contribution, the extended Kalman filter with parallel computation proposed for real-time GPS satellite clock estimation (Gao et al., 2017) is introduced to improve the computational efficiency. In the introduced method, the epoch observations are processed sequentially and the covariance update process is accelerated with the Open Multi-Processing. With observation data from about 70 globally distributed stations spanning days 001–003 of 2018, the real-time GPS orbit and clock are estimated for validation. The epoch average processing time of the introduced method achieves around 2.9 s on average with 16 CPU cores, while that of the traditional method without Open Multi-Processing is about 4.1 s. When compare the estimated orbit and clock to the IGS final products, the daily constellation-mean RMS of orbit achieve 2.7, 5.7, 4.9 cm for the radial, along-track and cross-track respectively, while the daily constellation-mean STD of the clock is about 0.10 ns. The numerical experiments indicate that the introduced method is able to provide real-time sub-decimeter GPS orbit and clock within 10.0 s considering the time for data collection and corrections broadcast.
