[Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (auteur) Unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) segmentation aims to leverage labeled source data to make accurate predictions on unlabeled target data. The key is to make the segmentation network learn domain-invariant representations. In this work, we propose a prototype-guided multitask adversarial network (PMAN) to achieve this. First, we propose an intensity-aware segmentation network (IAS-Net) that leverages the private intensity information of target data to substantially facilitate feature learning of the target domain. Second, the category-level cross-domain feature alignment strategy is introduced to flee the side effects of global feature alignment. It employs the prototype (class centroid) and includes two essential operations: 1) build an auxiliary nonparametric classifier to evaluate the semantic alignment degree of each point based on the prediction consistency between the main and auxiliary classifiers and 2) introduce two class-conditional point-to-prototype learning objectives for better alignment. One is to explicitly perform category-level feature alignment in a progressive manner, and the other aims to shape the source feature representation to be discriminative. Extensive experiments reveal that our PMAN outperforms state-of-the-art results on two benchmark datasets. [Termes IGN] Triangulated Irregular NetworkRésumé : (auteur) Dense image matching (DIM) and LiDAR are two complementary techniques for recovering the 3D geometry of real scenes. While DIM provides dense surfaces, they are often noisy and contaminated with outliers. Conversely, LiDAR is more accurate and robust, but less dense and more expensive compared to DIM. In this work, we investigate learning-based methods to refine surfaces produced by photogrammetry with sparse LiDAR point clouds. Unlike the current state-of-the-art approaches in the computer vision community, our focus is on aerial acquisitions typical in photogrammetry. We propose a densification pipeline that adopts a PSMNet backbone with triangulated irregular network interpolation based expansion, feature enhancement in cost volume, and conditional cost volume normalization, i.e. PSMNet-FusionX3. Our method works better on low density and is less sensitive to distribution, demonstrating its effectiveness across a range of LiDAR point cloud densities and distributions, including analyses of dataset shifts. [Termes IGN] zone tamponRésumé : (auteur) Following a major earthquake, disaster information services must deliver accurate damage assessment results during the emergency ‘black box’ phase when data is scarce. Seismic intensity maps contain crucial information for determining the damage in the affected area. For earthquakes with Mw between 5.5 and 7, this study proposes using GIS analysis to mine aftershock events in early aftershock sequences that are closely related to the mainshock fault, and then using these events to generate seismic intensity assessment maps. Regression curves were first obtained using a nonparametric method (rLowess) to analyse the geographical coordinates of early aftershocks. Then, a buffer of 1 or 1.5 km radius was made for the curve, and the aftershocks in the buffer were used to calculate the predicted peak ground velocity (PGV) values over a specific km-grid range. Finally, rapid mapping of seismic intensity was assessed based on the intensity scale. This straightforward and repeatable method employs seismic station data obtained shortly after the mainshock. The assessed seismic intensity accurately reflects the location and extent of the hardest hit areas and can be cross-referenced with geophysical results to accurately assess the damage in the affected areas. Estimating the extent and comprehending the spatial distribution of hotspot area is crucial to implement evidence-based soil and water conservation (SWC) measures with limited resources. The study used RUSLE and SDR models in ArcGIS 10.8 environment. The RUSLE model was found to be highly sensitive to C factor followed by LS factor. The result indicated that the annual soil loss varies from 0 to 359.99 t ha−1 yr−1 with 22.31 t ha−1 yr−1 as a mean annual. Besides, the estimated sediment yield ranged from 0 to 42.5 t ha−1 yr−1 with a mean value of 12.02 t ha−1 yr−1. The finding revealed that the central west (SW_5) and northeast (SW_4) parts of the watershed yield higher sediment. The result also signified that about 52.9% of the eroded materials including soil and nutrients are transferred to the outlet. The outcome of our finding undoubtedly aids in the identification of hotspot areas for the adoption of appropriate SWC measures. Hence, adopting RUSLE and SDR for Gununo watershed and another watershed having similar biophysical and environmental factors is suggested. Most existing approaches are based on fully supervised learning, but labeled data are so scarce for change detection. It is difficult to exhibit high detection performance with a limited amount of labeled data. In this paper, we propose a semi-supervised Label Propagation (SSLP) approach for multi-source remote sensing image change detection. First, a clustering label propagation (CLP) method is designed to cluster pre and post images, respectively, and assign pseudo labels to unlabeled pixel pairs that have similar mapping relationships to labeled pixel pairs. Second, a pixel density metric is investigated to filter out the data with low density and retain the data with high density, which can ensure the reliability of the propagated data. Third, a secondary expansion method based on pixel neighborhood is used to generate enough training data for training a classifier. Finally, the effectiveness of SSLP is validated on three real datasets by comparing to other related methods.
