[Termes IGN] utilisateurRésumé : (Auteur) In this paper, we propose a fundamental approach to perform the class of Range and Nearest Neighbor (NN) queries, the core class of spatial queries used in location-based services, without revealing any location information about the query in order to preserve users’ private location information. The idea behind our approach is to utilize the power of one-way transformations to map the space of all objects and queries to another space and resolve spatial queries blindly in the transformed space. Traditional encryption based techniques, solutions based on the theory of private information retrieval, or the recently proposed anonymity and cloaking based approaches cannot provide stringent privacy guarantees without incurring costly computation and/or communication overhead. In contrast, we propose efficient algorithms to evaluate KNN and range queries privately in the Hilbert transformed space. We also propose a dual curve query resolution technique which further reduces the costs of performing range and KNN queries using a single Hilbert curve. We experimentally evaluate the performance of our proposed range and KNN query processing techniques and verify the strong level of privacy achieved with acceptable computation and communication overhead. [Termes IGN] image hyperspectraleRésumé : (Auteur) In this paper, we address a spectral unmixing problem for hyperspectral images by introducing multiple-kernel learning (MKL) coupled with support vector machines. To effectively solve issues of spectral unmixing, an MKL method is explored to build new boundaries and distances between classes in multiple-kernel Hilbert space (MKHS). Integrating reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHSs) spanned by a series of different basis kernels in MKHS is able to provide increased power in handling general nonlinear problems than traditional single-kernel learning in RKHS. The proposed method is developed to solve multiclass unmixing problems. To validate the proposed MKL-based algorithm, both synthetic data and real hyperspectral image data were used in our experiments. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has a strong ability to capture interclass spectral differences and improve unmixing accuracy, compared to the state-of-the-art algorithms tested. [Termes IGN] quantité continueRésumé : (Auteur) In Norway, as in the rest of Fennoscandia, the process of Glacial Isostatic Adjustment causes ongoing crustal deformation. The vertical and horizontal movements of the Earth can be measured to a high degree of precision using GNSS. The Norwegian GNSS network has gradually been established since the early 1990s and today contains approximately 140 stations. The stations are established both for navigation purposes and for studies of geophysical processes. Only a few of these stations have been analyzed previously. We present new velocity estimates for the Norwegian GNSS network using the processing package GAMIT. We examine the relation between time-series length and precision. With approximately 3.5 years of data, we are able to reproduce the secular vertical rate with a precision of 0.5 mm/year. To establish a continuous crustal velocity field in areas where we have no GNSS receivers or the observation period is too short to obtain reliable results, either interpolation or modeling is required. We experiment with both approaches in this analysis by using (i) a statistical interpolation method called Kriging and (ii) a GIA forward model. In addition, we examine how our vertical velocity field solution is affected by the inclusion of data from repeated leveling. Results from our geophysical model give better estimates on the edge of the network, but inside the network the statistical interpolation method performs better. In general, we find that if we have less than 3.5 years of data for a GNSS station, the interpolated value is better than the velocity estimate based on a single time-series. [Termes IGN] séquence d'imagesRésumé : (Auteur) Glaciar San Rafael in the Northern Patagonia Icefield, with a length of 46 km and an ice area of 722 km2, is the lowest latitude tidewater outlet glacier in the world and one of the fastest and most productive glaciers in southern South America in terms of iceberg flux. Spatio-temporal velocity fields in the region of the glacier front were determined from monoscopic terrestrial image sequences recorded by an inter-vallometer mode high-resolution digital camera over several days. In these image sequences, a large number of glacier surface points were tracked by subpixel accuracy feature tracking techniques. Scaling and georeferencing of the trajectories obtained from image space tracking was performed using a multi-station GPS-supported photogrammetric net-work. The technique allows for tracking hundreds of glacier surface points at a measurement accuracy in the order of one decimeter, for typical glacier movement rates, and an almost arbitrarily high temporal resolution. The results show velocities of up to 16 meters per day.
