[Termes IGN] station GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Precise point positioning is increasingly being used in geodetic applications that in many cases are based on static 24-hour RINEX files. Since there are many applications where sub-centimeter position accuracy is not required and users wish to use a single receiver and not be dependent on differential correction, we will evaluate PPP performance for static positioning with 12-, 6-, 3-, 1- and ½-h observations. We have, therefore, considered a dataset for the year 2013 from 14 European GNSS stations. The data were analyzed using GIPSY-OASIS II software package and evaluated in terms of repeatability of the coordinates and of coherence with the formal error indicated for each PPP solution. Particular attention was paid to solutions showing large discrepancies in coordinates. The test shows that PPP precision for the 24-h files is below 5 mm, but decreases slightly for the 12-, 6- and 3-h observation sets. For the 1-h and the ½-h RINEX files, precision is within 5 and 10 cm, respectively. The analysis is completed with a discussion on the impact of the ambiguity resolution that shows how it significantly improves only the easting component and moreover has a higher influence on the formal error rather than on the solutions. Lastly, the study contains an investigation into the reliability of the formal error associated with the PPP solutions. We show that the formal error can be used to identify incorrect solutions, but is not suitable to represent the real accuracy. For that reason, we propose to use the formal error given for the float solutions even for the ones with fixed ambiguities. [Termes IGN] traitement de données localiséesRésumé : (auteur) The weather conditions and the loading during operation cause changes in the shape of engineering structures that affect static and dynamic function and reliability of these structures. Due to this fact, geodetic monitoring is an integral part of engineering structure diagnostics and gives important information about the current state (condition) of the structure. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) is often used for data acquisition in cases, requiring 3D information with high resolution. Therefore, TLS is used in different surveying applications, even in deformation monitoring of buildings or engineering structures. TLS allows non-contact documentation of the behaviour of the monitored structure. The accuracy of determination of the 3D coordinates of single measured points by currently commercially available laser scanners is several millimetres. The precision can be increased using suitable data processing, when valid assumptions about the scanned surface are available. The paper presents the possibility of deformation monitoring using TLS. To increase the precision of the results, the chosen parts of the monitored structure are approximated by fitting planes to point cloud. In this case, the position of the monitored point (part of structure) is calculated from tens or hundreds of scanned points instead of a single measurement. An application based on software MATLAB®, Displacement_TLS, was developed for automated data processing. It takes only several minutes, as the calculation is executed automatically for all monitored points at once. The proposed method represents fast and simple data processing. Benefits of the proposed method are demonstrated by experimental measurements of different structures and building elements. [Termes IGN] web mappingRésumé : (Auteur) Using Callegher's catalogue of ancient coin finds in the Trieste Province of NE Italy from the Ritrovamenti monetali di età romana nel Friuli Venezia Giulia, a spatial database of the findings (third century bce to sixth century ce) was created. The authors later developed a client side Web mapping application. All Free and Open Source Software tools were used to build both a spatial database (postgreSQL and PostGIS) and a Web mapping application (QGIS and Leaflet). The Web mapping application allows the user to find the territorial distribution of Celtic, Roman (Republican and Imperial), Byzantine, and Longobard coins. Each coin was georeferenced and linked to the denomination of the ancient coin, the authority that issued it, the coin mint, and the finding site. This project highlights not only the efficiency of the database methodology in managing numismatic data, but also the great potential of the geographic visualization process to reveal hidden relationships between the finding sites and the data connected with the ancient use of coins (e.g., ancient monetary areas, economic and commercial buffer zones, trade routes) Numéro de notice : A2017-373 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : GEOMATIQUE Nature : Article DOI : 10.3138/cart.52.2.3781 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.3138/cart.52.2.3781 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=85798
