[Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) Global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) signal deformations could threaten the position accuracy and integrity of GNSS, especially for safety critical applications. Digital distortion is an important kind of deformations caused by failures inside the baseband generation unit onboard the GNSS satellites. Multi-correlator technique, as a prevalent signal quality monitoring (SQM) method, was developed to reliably detect the signal anomaly and therefore protect airborne users from this integrity threat. However, the conventional multi-correlator technique is unable to estimate the degree of distortion quantitatively, while another SQM method, the chip domain observable, has a poor real-time capability so that it could not meet the stringent time to alarm requirements. To solve the above problem, we derived the spectrum form of the conventional Threat Model A first and proposed a IFFT-based SQM algorithm. This new method can perform SQM easily by analyzing the impulses after PSD division and IFFT: Detect the presence of digital distortion by judging whether there is an impulse after IFFT and estimate the degree of distortion by computing the offset of the impulse. The results show that the IFFT-based method can not only detect digital distortion real-timely but also estimate the digital distortion degree quantitatively. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) In this paper, the authors analysed the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) performance in determination of normal heights using observations from a test network consisting of ten sites. One-week observation interval was processed using standard PPP approach and Multi-Station PPP (MS-PPP) with ambiguity resolution using the NAvigation Package for Earth Observation Satellites v. 3.3.1 software. In post-processing corrections like the Earth rotation parameters, ocean loadings, antenna phase centre offsets and variations etc. needed to obtain the most accurate position were utilised. By processing the various lengths observing sessions (1 hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes) the authors examined the degradation of the position determination precision with shortening the observation time. In the study both high-end receivers used most often at CORS, as well as commercial two-frequency receivers were utilised. Normal heights were obtained using PL–geoid–2011 model. The results of the research show that PPP is a viable alternative for Relative GNSS Positioning in the case of GNSS levelling. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) GLONASS double-differenced (DD) ambiguity resolution is hindered by the inter-frequency bias (IFB) in GLONASS observation. We propose a new algorithm for IFB rate estimation to solve this problem. Although the wavelength of the widelane observation is several times that of the L1 observation, their IFB errors are similar in units of meters. Based on this property, the new algorithm can restrict the IFB effect on widelane observation within 0.5 cycles, which means the GLONASS widelane DD ambiguity can be accurately fixed. With the widelane integer ambiguity and phase observation, the IFB rate can be estimated using single-epoch measurements, called the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm, or using the Kalman filter to process all data, called the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm. Due to insufficient accuracy of the IFB rate estimated from widelane observations, the IFB rate has to be further refined with L1 and L2 observations. A new reference satellite selection method is proposed to serve the IFB rate estimation. The experiment results show that the IFB rates on L1 and L2 bands are different, that an accurate IFB rate will help us to obtain more fixed solutions at places with serious occlusion, that the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm can meet the requirements for real-time kinematic positioning with only 8% extra computational time, and that the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm is a satisfactory option for high-accuracy GLONASS positioning. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Triple-frequency signals have thus far been available for all satellites of BeiDou and Galileo systems and for some GPS satellites. The main benefit of triple-frequency signals is their formation of extra-wide-lane (EWL) combinations whose ambiguities can be instantaneously fixed for several 10–100 km baselines. Yet, this benefit has not been fully exploited and only used as a constraint for narrow-lane (NL) ambiguity resolution (AR) in most previous studies. In this study, we comprehensively investigate the real-time kinematic (RTK) capabilities of EWL observations, also referred to as EWL RTK (ERTK). We begin by mathematically expressing the ease of EWL AR and the difficulty of NL AR, respectively, using a numerical demonstration. We then present the mathematical models for ERTK including the ionosphere-ignored, ionosphere-float and ionosphere-smoothed types. The experiments are conducted using a four-station network of real triple-frequency BeiDou data with baseline lengths from 33 to 75 km. The results show that the ionosphere-ignored ERTK achieves real-time solutions with a horizontal accuracy of about 10 cm. Although the ionosphere-float ERTK solutions are very noisy, they can be quickly improved at the centimetre level by further applying the ionosphere-smoothed model. Note that such accurate results are very promising and already satisfy many applications without complicated NL AR. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive study to make full use of EWL observations of triple-frequency signals on RTK. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (auteur) A review of the research conducted until present on the subject of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) hardware-induced phase and code biases is here provided. Biases in GNSS positioning occur because of imperfections and/or physical limitations in the GNSS hardware. The biases are a result of small delays between events that ideally should be simultaneous in the transmission of the signal from a satellite or in the reception of the signal in a GNSS receiver. Consequently, these biases will also be present in the GNSS code and phase measurements and may there affect the accuracy of positions and other quantities derived from the observations. For instance, biases affect the ability to resolve the integer ambiguities in Precise Point Positioning (PPP), and in relative carrier phase positioning when measurements from multiple GNSSs are used. In addition, code biases affect ionospheric modeling when the Total Electron Content is estimated from GNSS measurements. The paper illustrates how satellite phase biases inhibit the resolution of the phase ambiguity to an integer in PPP, while receiver phase biases affect multi-GNSS positioning. It is also discussed how biases in the receiver channels affect relative GLONASS positioning with baselines of mixed receiver types. In addition, the importance of code biases between signals modulated onto different carriers as is required for modeling the ionosphere from GNSS measurements is discussed. The origin of biases is discussed along with their effect on GNSS positioning, and descriptions of how biases can be estimated or in other ways handled in the positioning process are provided.
