[Termes IGN] ville intelligenteRésumé : (auteur) Street vitality has become an essential indicator for evaluating the attractiveness and potential of the sustainable development of urban blocks, and it can be reflected by the type and the frequency of people's pedestrian activities on the street. While it is recognized that street built environment features affect pedestrian behavior and street vitality, quantifying the impact of these characteristics remains inconclusive. This paper proposes an automated deep learning approach to quantitatively explore the association between the street built environment and street vitality. First, we established a deep learning model for street vitality classification for automatic evaluation of street vitality based on the volumes and activities of pedestrians in the street through multiple object tracking and scene classification. Then, we applied semantic segmentation to measure five selected vitality-related street built environment variables. Finally, a linear regression model was applied to evaluate the built environment variables’ significance and effects on street vitality. To verify our method's accuracy and applicability, we selected a commercial complex in Osaka as an illustrative example. The experimental results highlight that street width and transparency have significant positive effects on street vitality. Compared with traditional methods, our approach is feasible, reliable, transferable, and more efficient. [Vedettes matières IGN] GéovisualisationRésumé : (auteur) Visibility analyses are employed in various fields, from landscape to archeology or territorial planning. Two case studies, of different elevation, from Romania were selected to be considered for setting up some observation points as lookout points. Fuzzy viewshed analysis was performed to evaluate the degree of visibility of certain landscape components and was also used as a tool for territorial planning. The main results of the research were some particular viewshed analysis area according to the dominant visibility directions. This methodology may be useful to local authorities, which are the only responsible bodies for authorizing, creating and setting up lookout points in a given space or for organizing certain planning activities. [Termes IGN] Virginie (Etats-Unis)Résumé : (auteur) Increasing urbanization and suburban growth in cities globally has highlighted the importance of land planning using detailed geomorphologic maps that depict anthropogenic landform changes. Such mapping provides information crucial for land management, hazard identification, and the management of the challenges arising from urbanization. The development and use of quantitative and repeatable methods to map anthropogenic and natural processes are required to advance the science of urban geomorphological mapping. This study investigated the application of geospatial modeling, structure-from-motion (SfM) photogrammetric methods and DEM differencing as means of quantifying anthropogenic landform changes from archival aerial imagery. Anthropogenic landforms were incorporated into a detailed geomorphologic map in an urbanizing watershed located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan suburb of Vienna, Virginia. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) During the past 30 years of reform and opening up, the level of urbanization in our country has made considerable progress, and more cities have had development conditions of the rail transit. In order to solve various problems caused by urbanization and optimize the allocation of urban resources, in this paper, the significance of spatial planning in big cities was analyzed from the perspective of land space utilization along with the rail transit. Based on GIS spatial clustering mining technology and combined with the basic characteristics of geographic information system, a GIS spatial mining search model that can solve the spatial land use was proposed. Then, by combining the clustering algorithm of some association rules, the land planning and utilization along the urban rail transit were calculated. The actual case was taken to establish the grid elements along with the rail transit, and the GIS spatial clustering algorithm was used to verify the model. The results show that GIS spatial clustering algorithm can effectively verify and calculate urban rail transit land planning programs. [Termes IGN] ShenzhenRésumé : (auteur) Understanding the influence mechanisms of dockless bike-sharing usage is essential for land use planning and bike scheduling strategy implementation. Although various studies have been carried out to explore the impact of built environment (BE) factors on bike-sharing usage, few studies have examined the modifiable areal unit problem (MAUP). Moreover, previous studies mainly focused on the separate effect of each factor but neglected the interactions between these factors. Taking Shenzhen, China as the case, this study fills these two gaps by employing the geographical detector method to examine the MAUP in dockless bike-sharing usage as well as the interactive effects of BE factors. The results revealed that the influences of most BE variables are sensitive to the spatial areal units, which have informed urban planners what built-environment factors should be paid more attention to at certain spatial scales. Additionally, through the comparisons between single effect and interactive effect, this study revealed some interesting findings that can provide scientific basis for temporal rebalance strategy for the innovative and high-density metropolis in China.
