[Termes IGN] squelettisationRésumé : (auteur) More accurate tree models, such as branch skeleton, are needed to acquire forest inventory data. Currently available algorithms for constructing a branch skeleton from a LiDAR point cloud have low accuracy with problems such as irrational connection near trunk bifurcation, excessive central deviation and topological errors. Using the C++ and PCL library, a novel algorithm of the incomplete simulation of tree transmitting water and nutrients (ISTTWN), based on geometric characteristics for tree branch skeleton extraction, was developed in this research. The algorithm is an incomplete simulation of tree transmitting water and nutrients. Improvements were made to improve the time and memory consumption. The result show that the ISTTWN algorithm without any improvements is quite time consuming but has consecutive output. After improvement with iteration, the process is faster and has more detailed output. Breakpoint connection is added to recover continuity. The ISTTWN algorithm with improvements can produce a more accurate skeleton and cost less time than a previous algorithm. The superiority and effectiveness of the method are demonstrated, which provides a reference for the subsequent study of tree modeling and a prospect of application in other fields, such as virtual reality, computer games and movie scenes. [Termes IGN] réseau antagoniste génératifRésumé : (auteur) Deep learning methods are typically data-hungry and require many labelled samples. Unfortunately, the amount of effort required to label the data has significantly hindered the application of deep learning methods, especially in 3D modelling tasks requiring heterogeneous samples. This paper proposes a semi-supervised adversarial recognition strategy embedded in the inverse procedural modelling engine to reduce data annotation costs for learning to model 3D façades. Beginning with textured level-of-details models, we use convolutional neural networks to recognise the types and estimate the parameters of windows from image patches. The window types and parameters are then assembled into the procedural grammar. A simple procedural engine is built inside off-the-shelf 3D modelling software, producing fine-grained window geometries. To obtain a useful model from a few labelled samples, we leverage a generative adversarial network to train the feature extractor in a semi-supervised manner. The adversarial training strategy exploits the unlabelled data to stabilise the training phase. Experiments using publicly available façade image datasets reveal that the proposed methods can improve classification accuracy and parameter estimation by approximately 10% and 50%, respectively, under the same network structure. In addition, performance gains are more pronounced when testing against unseen data featuring different façade styles. [Termes IGN] viticultureRésumé : (auteur) Plants diseases constitute a substantial threat for farmers given the high economic and environmental impact of their treatment. Detecting possible pathogen threats in plants based on non-destructive remote sensing and computer vision methods offers an alternative to existing laboratory methods and leads to improved crop management. Vine is an important crop that is mainly affected by fungal diseases. In this study, photos from healthy leaves and leaves infected by a fungal disease of vine are used to create disease identification classifiers. The transfer learning technique was employed in this study and was used to train three different deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) approaches that were compared according to their classification accuracy, namely AlexNet, VGG-19, and Inception v3. The above-mentioned models were trained on the open-source PlantVillage dataset using two training approaches: feature extraction, where the weights of the base deep neural network model were frozen and only the ones on the newly added layers were updated, and fine tuning, where the weights of the base model were also updated during training. Then, the created models were validated on the PlantVillage dataset and retrained using a custom field-grown vine photo dataset. The results showed that the fine-tuning approach showed better validation and testing accuracy, for all DCNNs, compared to the feature extraction approach. As far as the results of DCNNs are concerned, the Inception v3 algorithm outperformed VGG-19 and AlexNet in almost all the cases, demonstrating a validation performance of 100% for the fine-tuned strategy on the PlantVillage dataset and an accuracy of 83.3% for the respective strategy on a custom vine disease use case dataset, while AlexNet achieved 87.5% validation and 66.7% accuracy for the respective scenarios. Regarding VGG-19, the validation performance reached 100%, with an accuracy of 76.7%. [Termes IGN] Triangulated Irregular NetworkRésumé : (auteur) Ground-point filtering from point-cloud data is an important process in remote sensing and the photogrammetric map-production line, especially in generating digital elevation models from airborne lidar and aerial photogrammetric point-cloud data. In this article, a new and simple boundary-based method is proposed for ground-point filtering from the photogrammetric point-cloud data. The proposed method uses the local height difference to extract the boundaries of objects. Then the extracted boundary points are traced to generate polygons around the borders of any objects on the ground. Finally, the points located inside these polygons, which are classified as non-ground points, are filtered. The experimental results on the photogrammetric point cloud show that the proposed method can adapt to complex environments. The total error of the proposed method is about 8.96%, which is promising in these challenging data sets. Moreover, the proposed method is compared with cloth simulation filtering, multi-scale curvature classification, and gLiDAR methods and gives better results. [Termes IGN] traitement du langage naturelRésumé : (auteur) Multisource point of interest (POI) matching refers to the pairing of POIs that refer to the same geographic entity in different data sources. This also constitutes the core issue in geospatial data fusion and update. The existing methods cannot effectively capture the complex semantic information from a text, and the manually defined rules largely affect matching results. This study developed a multisource POI matching method based on deep learning that transforms the POI pair matching problem into a binary classification problem. First, we used three different Chinese word segmentation methods to segment the POI text attributes and used the segmentation results to train the Word2Vec model to generate the corresponding word vector representation. Then, we used the text convolutional neural network (Text-CNN) and multilayer perceptron (MLP) to extract the POI attributes' features and generate the corresponding feature vector representation. Finally, we used the enhanced sequential inference model (ESIM) to perform local inference and inference combination on each attribute to realize the classification of POI pairs. We used the POI dataset containing Baidu Map, Tencent Map, and Gaode Map from Chengdu to train, verify, and test the model. The experimental results show that the matching precision, recall rate, and F1 score of the proposed method exceed 98% on the test set, and it is significantly better than the existing matching methods.
