[Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) Origin-destination (OD) flow pattern mining is an important research method of urban dynamics, in which OD flow clustering analysis discovers the activity patterns of urban residents and mine the coupling relationship of urban subspace and dynamic causes. The existing flow clustering methods are limited by the spatial constraints of OD points, rely on the spatial similarity of geographical points, and lack in-depth analysis of high-dimensional flow characteristics, and therefore it is difficult to find irregular flow clusters. In this paper, we propose an OD flow clustering method based on vector constraints (ODFCVC), which defines OD flow event point and OD flow vector to express the spatial location relationship and geometric flow behavior characteristics of OD flow. First, the OD flow vector coordinate system is normalized by the Euclidean distance-based OD flow event point spatial clustering, and then the OD flow clusters with similar flow patterns are mined using adjusted cosine similarity-based OD flow vector feature clustering. The transformation of OD data from point set space to vector space is realized by constraining the vector coordinate system and vector similarity through two-step clustering, which simplifies the calculation of high-dimensional similarity of OD flow and helps mining representative OD flow clusters in flow space. Due to the OD flow cluster property, the k-means algorithm is selected as the basic clustering logic in the two-step clustering method, and a sum of squared error perceptually important points algorithm considering silhouette coefficients (SSEPIP) is adopted to automatically extract the optimal cluster number without defining any parameters. Tested by origin-destination flow data in Beijing, China, new traffic flow communities based on traffic hubs are obtained by using the ODFCVC method, and irregular traffic flow clusters (including cluster mode, divergence mode, and convergence mode) with representative travel trends are found. [Termes IGN] tenseurRésumé : (auteur) In this article, we propose a novel tensorial approach, namely, generalized tensor regression, for hyperspectral image classification. First, a simple and effective classifier, i.e., the ridge regression for multivariate labels, is extended to its tensorial version by taking advantages of tensorial representation. Then, the discrimination information of different modes is exploited to further strengthen the capacity of the model. Moreover, the model can be simplified and solved easily. Different from traditional tensorial methods, the proposed model can be utilized to capture not only the intrinsic structure of data in a physical sense but also the generalized relationship of data in a logical sense. Our proposed approach is shown to be effective for different classification purposes on a series of instantiations. Specifically, our experiment results with hyperspectral images collected by the airborne visible/infrared imaging spectrometer, the reflective optics spectrographic imaging system and the ITRES CASI-1500 demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach as compared to other tensor-based classifiers and multiple kernel learning methods. [Termes IGN] test statistiqueRésumé : (Auteur) The main objective of this study to produce landslide susceptibility zones using maximum entropy (MaxEnt) and support vector machine (SVM) data-driven models along the Tipari to Ghuttu highway corridors in the Garhwal Himalaya. A landslide inventory has been prepared through field surveys and LISS-IV and Landsat 8 satellite images. The datasets of 85 landslides were categorised into training and test sets. In this study 11 landslide conditioning variables were used that are; altitude, slope angle, aspect, plan curvature, topographic wetness index, normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI), land use, soil texture, distance to rivers, distance to faults, and distance to the road. The result produced using MaxEnt and SVM model were subsequently validated using receiver operating characteristics curve (ROC) with test sets of landslide dataset. Both the models have good prediction capabilities. MaxEnt has ROC value of 0.78 while SVM has the highest prediction rate of 0.85. [Termes IGN] pondérationRésumé : (auteur) In the present study, an improved iteratively reweighted multivariate alteration detection (IR-MAD) algorithm was proposed to improve the contribution of weakly correlated bands in multi-spectral image change detection. In the proposed algorithm, each image band was given a different weight through single-band iterative weighting, improving the correlation between each pair of bands. This method was used to obtain the characteristic difference in the diagrams of the band that contain more variation information. After removing Gaussian noise from each feature-difference graph, the difference graphs of each band were fused into a change-intensity graph using the Euclidean distance formula. Finally, unsupervised fuzzy C-means (FCM) clustering was used to perform binary clustering on the fused difference graphs to obtain the change detection results. By comparing the original multivariate alteration detection (MAD) algorithm, the IR-MAD algorithm and the proposed IR-MAD algorithm, which used a mask to eliminate strong changes, the experimental results revealed that the multi-spectral change detection results of the proposed algorithm are closer to the actual value and had higher detection accuracy than the other algorithms. [Termes IGN] taxinomieRésumé : (auteur) The prediction of grasslands plant diversity using satellite image time series is considered in this article. Fifteen months of freely available Sentinel optical and radar data were used to predict taxonomic and functional diversity at the pixel scale (10 m × 10 m) over a large geographical extent (40,000 km2). 415 field measurements were collected in 83 grasslands to train and validate several statistical learning methods. The objective was to link the satellite spectro-temporal data to the plant diversity indices. Among the several diversity indices tested, Simpson and Shannon indices were best predicted with a coefficient of determination around 0.4 using a Random Forest predictor and Sentinel-2 data. The use of Sentinel-1 data was not found to improve significantly the prediction accuracy. Using the Random Forest algorithm and the Sentinel-2 time series, the prediction of the Simpson index was performed. The resulting map highlights the intra-parcel variability and demonstrates the capacity of satellite image time series to monitor grasslands plant taxonomic diversity from an ecological viewpoint.
