[Termes IGN] TurquieRésumé : (Auteur) Protected areas (PAs) are essential for ensuring the sustainability of biodiversity and protecting human lives. Efficient and sustainable protection require cooperation of all stakeholders and anticipate the coherence of conservation aims and human use. PAs can limit the human activities and land use alternatives significantly. Participatory planning and monitoring can help to achieve the protection goals and 3D GIS can serve as the base platform for planning. This study investigates the potential of 3D GIS with high-resolution datasets for accurate definition of PA boundaries and demonstrates a case study in Cesme Peninsula, Turkey. The PA boundaries have been examined with respect to the property ownership boundaries and buildings using the 3D city model of Cesme. A conceptual approach for the determination of PA boundaries is proposed. The results show that 3D GIS can support the ecosystem conservation efforts while observing the interests of all stakeholders at the same time. [Termes IGN] traitement de données localiséesRésumé : (auteur) OpenStreetMap is one of the successful volunteered geographic al information projects. Participants contribute to this crowdsourced project by adding geometric and semantic data. However, both missing geometric and semantic data still cause complete ness problems. In this paper, a semi-automated approach is suggested to identify the values of leisure tag of polygon features. The approach uses geometric (rectangularity, density, area, and distances to bus stop and shop) and semantic (amenity) data and estimates the key values using random forest classifier. In short, the results show that tag identification was conducted in three districts of Ankara with f - score s 78%, 86%, and 87%. Object-based image analysis (OBIA) was performed to pan-sharpened the Landsat 8 images. Four different burned areas, namely Kumluca, Adrasan, Anamur, and Alanya, were used as study areas. Kumluca, Anamur, and Alanya regions were used as training areas, and Adrasan region was used as the test area. Obtained results were evaluated with confusion matrix and statistically significant analysis. According to the results, FT and RotF produced more accurate results than other algorithms. Also, the results obtained with these algorithms are statistically significant. [Termes IGN] TurquieRésumé : (auteur) One of the more common methods of observation of variability of the Earth’s ionosphere is based on total electron content (TEC) estimated from ground-based dual-frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers. Variations in solar, geomagnetic and seismic activity cause depletions or enhancements in the ionospheric electron concentrations that can be detected as disturbances. Some of these disturbances have wave-like characteristics, where frequency of oscillation can be used to identify and classify the disturbance. In this study, the frequency of such periodic disturbances is estimated using a fast Fourier transform (FFT)-based method, namely IONOLAB-FFT, in the spectral domain. IONOLAB-FFT, which was initially developed to be used on slant TEC (STEC), is modified to be applied to TEC in the local zenith direction of the receiver. The algorithm is tested using literature data on disturbances generated by a geomagnetic activity, a solar flare, a medium-scale traveling ionospheric disturbance (MSTID), a large-scale TID (LSTID) and an earthquake. An accordance with these known disturbances is observed in running IONOLAB-FFT, and the main frequencies and durations of the disturbances are estimated. IONOLAB-FFT method is applied to TEC computed from Turkish Permanent GPS Network (TNPGN-Active) which lies in mid-latitude region to detect the any wave-like oscillations, sudden disturbances and other irregularities during December, March, June and September months for 2010, 2011 and 2012 years. It is observed that a large number of the estimated frequencies are accumulated between 0.08 and 0.14 MHz corresponding to periods of 3.5 h to 2 h. The significant frequencies are grouped less than 0.28 MHz. A large number of the durations of the oscillations are between 425 and 550 min in 2010, 300 and 550 min in 2011 and 350 and 400 min in 2012. The longest duration (around 800 min: 13.33 h) is observed in December months, and the shortest duration (around 2 h) is observed in September months. [Termes IGN] TurquieRésumé : (auteur) This paper investigates the behaviour of the double-curvature Deriner dam, which is in the operation phase and also one of the highest dams in the world. In order to determine the displacements, a geodetic network consisting of twelve reference and seven object points was measured in four periods by means of the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) data. The θ2-Criteria method was used to determine the extent of the deformation. The deformation analysis results based on the GNSS measurements revealed significant horizontal and vertical displacements on the object points on the dam crest. Hence, the vertical displacements found based on the GNSS measurements can be considered erroneous, because they are greater than expected. This may be due to the narrow topography of the valley. Another conclusion drawn from the results is that there is a strong relationship between the change in the reservoir water level and horizontal deformations, as can be seen from the horizontal deformation vectors.
