[Termes descripteurs IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) For reasons mostly related to chip shape distortions, global navigation satellite system (GNSS) observations are corrupted by receiver-dependent biases. These are often stable in the long term, though numerically different depending on the signal frequency, satellite system and receiver manufacturer. Based on the mixed-differenced model combining undifferenced pseudorange with epoch-differenced carrier phase observations, we present a multi-GNSS real-time precise clock estimation model considering correction of inter-satellite code biases (ISCBs). Pre-estimated receiver-dependent ISCB corrections are introduced to correct the inter-receiver, inter-satellite and inter-system biases largely. Then the number of estimated parameters is reduced to a manageable level for real-time estimation. Comparisons with post-processed data show that compared to undifferenced, epoch-differenced and non-bias-corrected mixed-differenced models, the proposed bias-corrected model can greatly reduce the precise clock offset systematic biases, especially for GLONASS and BeiDou. The test results show the root mean square data reductions are improved by up to 96% for GLONASS, 78% for BeiDou and 40% for GPS and Galileo. [Termes descripteurs IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) For real-time precise orbit determination (POD) of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, high-accuracy global navigation satellite system (GNSS) orbit and clock products are necessary in real time. Recently, the Japanese multi-GNSS advanced demonstration of orbit and clock analysis precise point positioning (PPP) service and the new generation of the Australian/New Zealand satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS)-aided PPP service provide free and precise GNSS products that are directly broadcast through the navigation and geostationary earth orbit satellites, respectively. With the high quality of both products shown in this study, a 3D accuracy of centimeters can be achieved in the post-processing mode for the reduced-dynamic orbits of small LEO satellites having a duty cycle down to 40% and at sub-dm to dm level for the kinematic orbits. The results show a promising future for high-accuracy real-time POD onboard LEO satellites benefiting from the precise free-of-charge PPP corrections broadcast by navigation systems or SBAS. [Termes descripteurs IGN] trajet multipleRésumé : (auteur) Multipath effects and signal obstruction by buildings in urban canyons can lead to inaccurate GNSS measurements and therefore errors in the estimated trajectory of Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) systems; consequently, derived point clouds are distorted and lose spatial consistency. We obtain decimetre-level trajectory accuracy making use of corresponding points between the MLS data and aerial images with accurate exterior orientations instead of using ground control points. The MLS trajectory is estimated based on observation equations resulting from these corresponding points, the original IMU observations, and soft constraints on the pitch and yaw rotations of the vehicle. We analyse the quality of the trajectory enhancement under several conditions where the experiments were designed to test the influence of the number and quality of corresponding points and to test different settings for a B-spline representation of the vehicle trajectory. The method was tested on two independently acquired MLS datasets in Rotterdam by enhancing the trajectories and evaluating them using checkpoints. The RMSE values of the original GNSS/IMU based Kalman filter results at the checkpoints were 0.26 m, 0.30 m, and 0.47 m for the X-, Y- and Z-coordinates in the first dataset and 1.10 m, 1.51 m, and 1.81 m in the second dataset. The latter dataset was recorded with a lower quality IMU in an area with taller buildings. After trajectory adjustment these RMSE values were reduced to 0.09 m, 0.11 m, and 0.16 m for the first dataset and 0.12 m, 0.14 m, and 0.18 m for the second dataset. The results confirmed that, if sufficient tie points between the point cloud and aerial imagery are available, the method supports geo-referencing of MLS point clouds in urban canyons with a near-decimetre accuracy. [Termes descripteurs IGN] Pushbroom hyperspectral imagerRésumé : (Auteur) Recently, linear features in remotely sensed imagery have gained much attention because of their unique characteristics compared to other control features. For georeferencing high-resolution satellite images, the observations in the mathematical equations (slope and y-intercept) of the corresponding control lines in the two spaces are considered the same based on recent studies. However, the use of such assumptions causes error and reduces the accuracy of registration. The aim of this article is to present a methodology based on a quasi-observation assumption in the mathematical equations in the process of georeferencing. Experimental results for IKONOS and GeoEye images over two different cities of Iran indicate that the quasi-observation assumption can increase the average registration accuracy up to 48.96% and 24.77% using 3D-affine and rational function models, respectively. This improvement in accuracy increases the processing time by 31.48% over traditional approaches; however, the proposed methodology can be regarded as an efficient solution. [Termes descripteurs IGN] mesure géodésiqueRésumé : (auteur) We use global data from the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter (LOLA) to retrieve the lunar tidal Love number ℎ2 and find ℎ2=0.0387±0.0025. This result is in agreement with previous estimates from laser altimetry using crossover points of LOLA profiles. The Love numbers k2 and h2 are key constraints on planetary interior models. We further develop and apply a retrieval method based on a simultaneous inversion for the topography and the tidal signal benefiting from the large volume of LOLA data. By the application to the lunar tides, we also demonstrate the potential of the method for future altimetry experiments at other planetary bodies. The results of this study are very promising with respect to the determination of Mercury’s and Ganymede’s h2 from future altimeter measurements.
