Les SAMU-Centre 15 ont pour rôle d'adapter et de proportionner à la gravité de la situation les moyens à mettre en oeuvre pour l'urgence extra-hospitalière, de permettre si besoin l'admission du malade dans un établissement de santé privé ou public adapté et préparé à le recevoir, de concilier la qualité des soins et l'économie de santé par l'adaptation de ces soins aux besoins réels du patient. This approach seeks to provide commercial input to the Galileo signal design process, to optimize the GPS + Galileo "super constellation" for urban operation over Europe. The analysis further shows that GPS alone does not offer sufficient availability for "transparent" mass-market use in densely populated areas. Le projet Inspire, Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe, a pour objectif d'augmenter la quantité et la qualité de l'information géographique disponible et de mettre à disposition des données géographiques de référence. Différentes initiatives ont fourni déjà des éléments d'expériences à plusieurs niveaux. Des échanges entre groupes de travail et le groupe d'experts d'Inspire ont permis d'affiner les principes et d'envisager une nouvelle approche. le programme suivra une démarche progressive par étapes.
