[Termes IGN] qualité des donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) This article presents a new development in measuring the positional error of line features in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), in the form of a new measure for estimating the average error variance of line features, including line segment, polyline, polygon, and curved lines. This average error measure is represented in the form of a covariance matrix derived by an analytical approach. Corresponding error indicators are derived from this matrix. The error of line features mainly results from two factors: (1) an error propagated from the original component points of line features and (2) a model error of interpolation between these points. In this study, a method of average error estimation has been derived regarding the first type error of line features that are interpolated by either linear or cubic interpolation methods. The main contribution of the research is the provision of an error measure to assess the quality of spatial data in application settings. The proposed error models for estimating average error variance of line features in a GIS are illustrated by both simulated and practical experiments. The results show that the line accuracy from a linear interpolation is better than a line interpolated using a cubic model. [Termes IGN] vibrationRésumé : (Auteur) Photogrammetry has been used in the past to monitor the laboratory testing of civil engineering structures using multiple image-based sensors. This has been successful, but detecting vibrations during dynamic structural tests has proved more challenging because they usually depend on high-speed cameras which often results in lower image resolutions and reduced accuracy. To overcome this limitation, a novel approach has been devised to take measurements from blurred images in long-exposure photographs. The motion of the structure is captured in individual motion-blurred images without dependence on imaging speed. A bespoke algorithm then determines each measurement point's motion. Using photogrammetric techniques, a model structure's motion with respect to different excitation frequencies is captured and its vibration envelope recreated in 3D. The approach is tested and used to identify changes in the model's vibration response. [Termes IGN] SlovénieRésumé : (Auteur) The topic of this paper is the challenges of using remote sensing technologies as one of the potential data sources for the establishment of a 3D real property cadastre in Slovenia. More than a decade ago, the legal basis for the registration of property rights on the buildings and parts of buildings was provided in Slovenia, and for this purpose, the Building Cadastre was established. The analyses of the current data within the Land Cadastre and the Building Cadastre revealed that the 3D graphical representation of buildings, where the second level of detail (LoD 2) was discussed, requires additional data in which significant roof points should be additionally acquired. For this purpose, i.e. the creation of a graphical 3D-model of a building at the level LoD 2, we use the cadastral and national topographic data that covers the entire state territory, which are stereopairs of aerial photographs of the cyclic aerial survey (CAS) and airborne laser scanning data. Using a case study, we have analysed and discussed the appropriateness of the state airborne laser scanning data as an additional data source, along with the current cadastral data, for the creation of 3D-building model at the second level of detail, which is important from the cadastral as well as topographic perspective. [Termes IGN] voie ferréeRésumé : (auteur) The quality of geodetic networks for guiding Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) inside long tunnels depends largely on the correct use of a gyroscope. These networks are based on a series of control points at the tunnel entrance, and link each station by means of survey observations as they advance along the tunnel. Once, the networks are used to guide the TBM, they are no longer checked again. It is necessary to perform high accuracy astronomical observations to stars in order to determine the gyrotheodolite constant. Since astronomical observations cannot be made inside tunnels, geodetic azimuths have to be used for the computations. However, these azimuths cannot theoretically be compared with the astronomical azimuths obtained by the gyrotheodolite. An alternative is to compute the instrument constant using the values of the deviation of the vertical derived from a geoid model. That is the approach used in this work where a methodology for the design of underground networks in long tunnels is also presented. This procedure has been implemented during the construction of the Guadarrama and Pajares high-speed railway tunnels (Spain).
