[Termes IGN] surveillance géologiqueRésumé : (Auteur) A novel method called knowledge-guided spatio-temporal consistent correlation analysis (KSTCCA) was developed to discover reliable deformation features induced by multiple factors based on multimode landslide monitoring data. Compared to conventional approaches, KSTCCA integrates both temporal and spatial correlation analysis to improve the consistency of deformation patterns and capture the spatio-temporal heterogeneities in multimode monitoring data. KSTCCA considers both the landslide deformation mechanisms and the relationships between different influential factors as knowledge. Moreover, the method extracts the morphological structures of monitoring curves based on a seven-point approach and identifies knowledge rules using the k-means clustering method. Under the guidance of prior knowledge, a spatial correlation analysis is conducted based on support vector regression, and a temporal correlation analysis of the time lag is carried out based on the morphological structure features. Finally, three kinds of typical monitoring data, including deformation, rainfall, and reservoir water level data collected in the Baishuihe landslide area, China, are used for experimental analysis to verify the validity of the proposed method. [Termes IGN] transport collectifRésumé : (Auteur) Understanding the stability of urban flows is critical for urban transportation, urban planning and public health. However, few studies have measured the stability of aggregate human convergence or divergence patterns. We propose a spatiotemporal model for assessing the stability of human convergence and divergence patterns. A mobile phone location data set obtained from Shenzhen, China, was used to assess the stability of daily human convergence and divergence patterns at three different spatial scales, i.e. points (cell phone towers), lines (bus lines) and areas (traffic analysis zones [TAZs]). Our analysis results demonstrated that the proposed model can identify points and bus lines with time-dependent variations in stability, which is useful for delineating TAZs for transportation planning, or adjusting bus timetables and routes to meet the needs of bus riders. Comparisons of the results obtained from the proposed model and the widely used entropy measure indicated that the proposed model is suitable for assessing the differences in stability for various types of spatial analysis units, e.g. cell phone towers. Therefore, the proposed model is a useful alternative approach of measuring spatiotemporal stability of aggregate human convergence and divergence patterns, which can be derived from the space–time trajectories of moving objects. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) We assess the noise characteristics of daily position time series (Jet Propulsion Laboratory global solutions) from 12 International GNSS Service sites located in China, using both overlapping Hadamard variance (OHVAR) and maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). The result shows that OHVAR is computationally cheap, and the dominate power-law noise inferred is in good agreement with the ones inferred by comparing MLE values. However, OHVAR is insufficient to assess the long-period noise characteristics [e.g., random walk noise (RW)]. From the MLE analysis, the RW contribution is likely to be present in 14% of the time series, while the noise of most sites are characterized by a combination of white and flicker (or power law) noise (i.e., FL + WH or PL + WH). Moreover, sites near the northern crest of the equatorial ionization anomaly have larger amplitudes of WH in the vertical component, while no clear latitude dependency is observed in FL amplitudes. Some position sensors are added to instruments and observing reciprocal at the same time using two modified measuring robots so as to reduce the influence of atmospheric refraction, curvature of the earth and other factors. It is not necessary to measure the heights of instruments and targets by constructing the even numbers of observed edges to avoid errors of measuring heights. Experimental results indicate that MPTL has greatly increased the working efficiency and reduced the labour intensity compared with precise geometric levelling in the hills and mountains. A large number of experiments have proved that the standard deflection of measurement is less than and with an average speed of more than 7 kilometres per day in mountainous terrain. [Termes IGN] TaïwanRésumé : (auteur) The Meinong earthquake generated up to ~10 cm surface displacement located 10 - 35 km west of the epicenter and monitored by InSAR and GPS. In addition to coseismic deformation related to the deep earthquake source, InSAR revealed three sharp surface displacement gradients. One of them is extensional and is inconsistent with the westward interseismic shortening of ~45 mm yr-1 in this region. The gradient sharpness suggests slip triggering on shallow structures, some of which were not well documented before. To characterize these shallow structures, we investigated potential surface ruptures in the field. Sets of ~NS tension cracks distributed over 25 - 300 m width, with cumulative extension in the same order as InSAR observations, were found along 5.5 km distance along the extensional gradient and are interpreted as surface rupture. We build two E-W regional balanced cross-sections, based on surface geology, subsurface data, and coseismic and interseismic geodetic data. From the Coastal Plain to the east edge of the coseismic deformation area, we propose a series of three active west-dipping backthrusts: the Houchiali fault, the Napalin-Pitou backthrust, and the Lungchuan backthrust. They all root on the 3.5 - 4.0 km deep Tainan detachment located near the base of the 3-km-thick Gutingkeng mudstone. Further east, the detachment would ramp down to ~7 km depth. Coseismic surface deformation measurements suggest that, in addition to the deeper (15 - 20 km) main rupture plane, mostly the ramp, the Lungchuan backthrust, and the Tainan detachment were activated during or right after the earthquake. Local extension is considered as transient deformation at the west edge of the shallow main slip zone.
