[Termes IGN] TESRésumé : (Auteur) Asia is an area where currently there is a huge activity in terms of building and launching satellites with a high-resotution imaging capabitity. Already six high-resolution satellites have been built in Asiatic countries and are operational, including two each from Israel, India and Japan. Another high-resotution satellite belonging to Taiwan is due to be launched within the next month or so. A further five are scheduled to be launched within the period 2004-2005 and still more are planned to be orbited during the rest of the decade. As will be seen, the vast majority of these satellites are being launched with national security considerations in mind. As a test of this method, stereoscopic images were used to study Quaternary deformation along the Tian Shan Orogenic Belt, north-west China. The new stereoscopic images can then provide detailed information of Quaternary deformation structures, including spatial distribution and arrangement pattern of fold structures, fault scarps and displacement of alluvial fans, terraces and drainage systems along active faults, in three dimensions. The strike-slip partitioning has been revealed by interpretation of stereoscopic images within Chinese Tian Shan. Structural interpretations derived from stereoscopic analysis were confirmed to a high degree of accuracy during a subsequent field study. The satellite remote sensing stereoscopic technique is an effective method of analysing Quaternary tectonic deformation in remote and to semi-arid regions such as the Tian Shan. [Termes IGN] température de surfaceRésumé : (Auteur) OMIS1 (Operative Modular Imaging Spectrometer) is a new imaging spectrometer designed by Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, and has eight thermal infrared bands (nos. 105112). This paper presents the use of images obtained from these thermal infrared bands to detect and map coal fires in northwestern China. According to experiments in the Rujigou area of Ningxia municipality, each thermal infrared band has high correlation (>0.939). Regression analysis of land surface temperature (LST) with the pixel value in each thermal infrared band indicates: (1) for images acquired at daytime (from 11:00 to 13:00 local time), the first four thermal infrared bands have a linear relationship, and the final four bands have an exponential relationship; (2) for images acquired in the early morning (from 06:00 to 07:30), each band has a linear relationship. In conclusion, the ground temperature map is based on the 107th band of morning time. The mapping error is greatly determined by the quantity and precision of ground data measured synchronously. [Termes IGN] spectromètre imageurRésumé : (Auteur) Hyperspectral remote sensing data with bandwidth of nanometre (nm) level have tens or even several hundreds of channels and contain abundant spectral information. Different channels have their own properties and show the spectral characteristics of various objects in image. Rational feature selection from the varieties of channels is very important for effective analysis and information extraction of hyperspectral data. This paper, taking Shunyi region of Beijing as a study area, comprehensively analysed the spectral characteristics of hyperspectral data. On the basis of analysing the information quantity of bands, correlation between different bands, spectral absorption characteristics of objects and object separability in bands, a fundamental method of optimum band selection and feature extraction from hyperspectral remote sensing data was proposed.
Note de contenu : 1 PRESENTATION DE L'ORGANISME D'ACCUEIL
