Due to advances in survey technologies, it becomes important to choose well-suited technology for a specific area. Moreover, various technologies have various ranges of equipment and manufacturers, as well as characteristics. Therefore, in this thesis, a proposed method of a hydrographic survey, i.e., identifying the appropriate technology, has been developed. The method is based on a reduced elimination matrix, decision tree supervised learning, and multicriteria decision methods. The available technologies were: SBES (research vessel), SBES+SSS (research vessel), MBES (research vessel), MBES (research vessel)+SBES (small boat), LIDAR (UAV), SDB (satellite sensors) and they are applied as a case study of Kaštela Bay. The optimal technology for Kaštela Bay study case was MBES (research vessel) and MBES (research vessel) + SBES (small boat) with a score of 0.97. Then with a score of 0.82 follows the SDB technology. Other available alternatives have a significantly lower score. It is a small evident difference between the three alternatives SBES (research vessel), SBES+SSS (research vessel), and LIDAR, which have a WSM score in the range from 0.58 – 0.65. Il s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un stage de fin d’études pour le cursus ingénieur de l’ENSG Géomatique. Tout d’abord, il rappelle quels sont les besoins en terme de visualisation cartographique au sein des deux unités de recherche. Puis, il met en avant les fonctionnalités attendues via une analyse informatique et l’utilisation du langage UML. Une étude technique portant sur le choix des outils en adéquation avec les besoins et les contraintes clôt la phase d’analyse. Enfin, le déploiement de l’infrastructure de données géographiques et la présentation des résultats viennent concrétiser la conception de l’outil. [Termes IGN] utilisation du solRésumé : (auteur) Several studies have shown that global changes have important impacts in mountainous areas, since they affect natural hazards induced by hydrometeorological events such as landslides. The present study evaluates, through an innovative method, the influence of both vegetation cover and climate change on landslide hazards in a Pyrenean valley from the present to 2100. We first focused on assessing future land use and land cover changes through the construction of four prospective socioeconomic scenarios and their projection to 2040 and 2100. Secondly, climate change parameters were used to extract the water saturation of the uppermost layers, according to two greenhouse gas emission scenarios. The impacts of land cover and climate change based on these scenarios were then used to modulate the hydromechanical model to compute the factor of safety (FoS) and the hazard levels over the considered area. The results demonstrate the influence of land cover on slope stability through the presence and type of forest. The resulting changes are statistically significant but small and dependent on future land cover linked to the socioeconomic scenarios. In particular, a reduction in human activity results in an increase in slope stability; in contrast, an increase in anthropic activity leads to an opposite evolution in the region, with some reduction in slope stability. Climate change may also have a significant impact in some areas because of the increase in the soil water content; the results indicate a reduction in the FoS in a large part of the study area, depending on the landslide type considered. Therefore, even if future forest growth leads to slope stabilization, the evolution of the groundwater conditions will lead to destabilization. The increasing rate of areas prone to landslides is higher for the shallow landslide type than for the deep landslide type. Interestingly, the evolution of extreme events is related to the frequency of the highest water filling ratio. The results indicate that the occurrences of landslide hazards in the near future (2021–2050 period, scenario RCP8.5) and far future (2071–2100 period, scenario RCP8.5) are expected to increase by factors of 1.5 and 4, respectively. [Termes IGN] segmentation d'imageRésumé : (auteur) Optical and radar satellite time series are synergetic: optical images contain rich spectral information, while C-band radar captures useful geometrical information and is immune to cloud cover. Motivated by the recent success of temporal attention-based methods across multiple crop mapping tasks, we propose to investigate how these models can be adapted to operate on several modalities. We implement and evaluate multiple fusion schemes, including a novel approach and simple adjustments to the training procedure, significantly improving performance and efficiency with little added complexity. We show that most fusion schemes have advantages and drawbacks, making them relevant for specific settings. We then evaluate the benefit of multimodality across several tasks: parcel classification, pixel-based segmentation, and panoptic parcel segmentation. We show that by leveraging both optical and radar time series, multimodal temporal attention-based models can outmatch single-modality models in terms of performance and resilience to cloud cover. To conduct these experiments, we augment the PASTIS dataset with spatially aligned radar image time series. The resulting dataset, PASTIS-R, constitutes the first large-scale, multimodal, and open-access satellite time series dataset with semantic and instance annotations.
