This study seeks to improve the effectiveness and reliability of BDS ambiguity resolution (AR) by combining the geometry-free and ionosphere-free (GFIF) combination and multipath mitigation algorithm. The GFIF combination composed with three-frequency signals is free of distance-dependent errors and can be used to determine the narrow lane ambiguity. The presence of multipath errors means that not all ambiguities can be correctly achieved by rounding the averaged GFIF ambiguity series. A multipath model of the single-differenced (SD) GFIF combination from the previous period is established for each individual satellite. This model is subtracted from the SD GFIF combination for the current day to remove the effects of multipath errors. Using three triangle networks with lengths of approximately 120, 80 and 50 km, we demonstrate that the proposed method improves the AR performance. The ambiguity averaged first fixing time is typically less than 1801 s for inclined geosynchronous orbit (IGSO) and medium earth orbit (MEO) satellites and less than 2007 s for the ∼42∘ elevation geostationary earth orbit (GEO) C02 satellite. However, it is more time consuming for the low-elevation GEO satellites C04 (∼18∘) and C05 (∼28∘). Kalman filtering is used to estimate the troposphere delays and two unfixed ambiguities by employing the ionosphere-free observations of all ambiguity-fixed/unfixed satellites. The experimental results show that only tens of seconds are required for AR in around 90 km baselines. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) This paper has studied the key issues about integration of GNSS and strong-motion records for real-time earthquake monitoring. The validations show that the consistence of the coordinate system must be considered firstly to exclude the system bias between GNSS and strong-motion. The GNSS sampling rate is suggested about 1–5 Hz, and we should give the strong-motion’s baseline shift with a larger dynamic noise as its variation is very swift. The initialization time of solving the baseline shift is less than one minute, and ambiguity resolution strategy is not greatly improved the solution. The data quality is very important for the solution, we advised to use multi-frequency and multi-system observations. These ideas give an important guide for real-time earthquake monitoring and early warning by the tight integration of GNSS and strong-motion records. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) In this paper, the stochastic characteristics of Global Positioning System (GPS) pseudo-range noise as influenced by several factors such as receiver type, frequency, and ionosphere environment are analysed. The results indicate that the noise level of GPS observations is significantly affected by these factors. Moreover, the noise level is so mutable that it cannot be generalised and described by a uniform empirical model. Even for the same satellite, the noise level of observations may fluctuate sharply in both spatial and temporal resolution. To establish a reasonable stochastic model, a recursive sliding window method for estimating pseudo-range noise in real time is introduced. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by specific computational examples. [Termes IGN] récepteur trifréquenceRésumé : (Auteur) Cycle slip detection and correction are important issues when carrier phase observations are used in high-precision GNSS data processing and have, therefore, been intensively investigated. Along with the GNSS modernization, the cycle slip correction (CSC) problem has been raised to deal with more signals from multi-frequencies. We extend the geometry-based approach by integrating time-differenced pseudorange and carrier phase observations to estimate the integer number of triple-frequency cycle slips together with the receiver clock offset, ionospheric delay variations and receiver displacements. The Least-squares AMBiguity Decorrelation Adjustment method can be employed. The benefit of the third frequency observation on the cycle slip estimate is first investigated with simulation tests. The results show that adding the third frequency observation can significantly improve the model strength and that a reliable triple-frequency CSC with a theoretical success rate of higher than 99.9 % can still be achieved, even under the condition that the range or ionosphere delay variation is poorly defined. The performance of triple-frequency CSC is validated with real triple-frequency BDS data since all BDS satellites in orbit are transmitting triple-frequency signals. The results show that the fixing rate of CSC can reach 99.1 % in static precise point positioning (PPP) and 98.8 % in the kinematic case. PPP solutions with cycle slip-uncorrected and cycle slip-corrected data sets are compared to validate the correctness of triple-frequency CSC. The standard deviations of the PPP solution in east, north and vertical component, respectively, can be improved by 31.1, 30.7 and 37.6 % for static, and by 42.0, 53.8 and 39.7 % for kinematic after cycle slips are corrected. The performance of dual- and triple-frequency CSC is also compared. Results show that the performance of dual-frequency CSC is slightly worse than that of triple-frequency CSC. These results demonstrate that the performance of CSC can be significantly improved with triple-frequency observations. [Termes IGN] valeur aberranteRésumé : (Auteur) False matches in tie-point image matching are common. This paper introduces a straightforward and effective prepossessing method to reject false matches from initial matches. The method is based on the idea of Hough transform using only two geometrical consistency parameters, namely, the scale parameter and the rotation parameter between two images. A weighted voting strategy is employed, and it can further improve the robustness of the algorithm. The method can handle a large rate of outliers and produce more robust matches with low complexity. No assumptions with regard to the relative pose between two images are necessary, and large perspective deformation can be handled as well. Experiments with ground reference data show that the algorithm works effectively even when the ratio of inliers is below 10 percent. In these data, the ratio of inliers can be improved from 5 percent to 40 percent on average.
