[Termes IGN] topométrie de précisionRésumé : (auteur) In the era of multiple satellite navigation and positioning, there are still many remained issues to be tackled in order to satisfy varied applications for various sectors. These include availability, accuracy, integrity, vulnerability and others. To explore feasibility of deformation monitoring under dam and steep slope environments, we investigated features of hybrid BD / GPS positioning and monitoring performance. Results indicate that hybrid satellites can further facilitate precise positioning for deformation monitoring on restricted regions. A static network in near real time mode is designed to exhibit essential sensitivity for deformation monitoring under different network connectivity. Analysis shows that under given network design matrix, contributions from hybrid BD / GPS have enhanced network sensitivity and ensured monitoring performance under challenged scenarios. Related tests combining with application to stringent dam monitoring have been conducted to exemplify sensitivity changes along vital engineering directions and optimal schemes for network configuration. [Termes IGN] stabilitéRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a concept for the identification of stable reference points used in horizontal control networks, which is based on the lengths of apparent displacement vectors and their mean errors. These vectors and their mean errors are obtained during the process of calculating displacements with free adjustment conditions. It will be shown that the influence of the apparent displacement vectors has a significant effect on the calculation of results. The identification of stable points, using the proposed method, is an integral part of the adjustment process and allows for the interrogation the influence of individual point inclusion or deletion from the reference database, on the values of displacements of controlled points. A detailed process of stable reference points identification is presented using the example of a linear-angular network for a barrage. [Termes IGN] températureRésumé : (auteur) Separating noise, systematic errors and deformation components that are caused by different forces such as water pressure and temperature should be identified from dam deformation monitoring data to facilitate effective dam deformation analysis and consequently determine the potential dam structural damage. As source signals are assumed to be mutually independent, independent component analysis (ICA) can be used to separate the source signals from their mixtures. In addition to signal independence, another requirement of ICA theory is that the number of mixtures should not be less than that of source signals. Unfortunately, in most cases of dam deformation monitoring, only a single channel of observed displacement data is available for each monitoring point. Therefore, ICA with single channel data input (called single channel ICA) is necessary in the application of deformation analysis. In this paper, we apply a phase space reconstruction based single channel ICA (PSR-ICA) algorithm to de-noise deformation monitoring data and separate deformation components introduced by different forces from these de-noised data. A numerical simulation is conducted, and results indicate that PSR-ICA is an efficient tool not only for denoising data but also for separating deformation components caused by different forces. PSR-ICA is then further utilised to process the displacement monitoring data of Wuqiangxi Dam. Results indicate that the two extracted main displacement components are nearly consistent with the displacement components; temperature and water level are used as variables and are computed by using a regression model. Both numerical simulated and real life dams demonstrate that PSR-ICA is an effective tool for separating deformation components by different causative forces and is therefore beneficial to dam deformation analysis. [Termes IGN] surveillance d'ouvrageRésumé : (auteur) The safety control and structural analysis of Portuguese large dams has been using, for many decades, small triangulation networks to monitor the horizontal displacements of a carefully selected set of target points on the dams. The recent surge in the use of motorised tacheometers, which enable automatic measurement of angles and distances, is changing traditional triangulation networks into combined angles/distances networks. This paper addresses the estimation of weights for the combined adjustment of angles and distances.
