Note de contenu : 1- Introduction

[Termes IGN] système de gestion de connaissancesRésumé : (auteur This article presents a conceptual model of sport events legacy based on the Olympic and Paralympic Games as a reference. The legacy of mega sport events has gained ever more importance during recent years for both academics and practitioners. The International Olympic Committee looked at the concept of legacy, as it is the best argument with which to illustrate the lasting benefits that are derived from the Olympic Games. The Legacy is the way to structure the capitalization of the benefits and lessons related to the organization of major sporting events. So, our motivation is to develop a tool of the sport events legacy. The aims of the article are first, to investigate the legacy sport events literature, second, to propose a Legacy Conceptual Model (LCM) and to transpose it to a database which will be support to analyse the changes related to legacy. This research target also has a practical implication. So, we investigate how the LCM helps to analyze the legacy left by a sport eve nt using a case study. [Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (auteur) Indoor mapping attracts more attention with the development of 2D and 3D camera and Lidar sensor. Lidar systems can provide a very high resolution and accurate point cloud. When aiming to reconstruct the static part of the scene, moving objects should be detected and removed which can prove challenging. This paper proposes a generic method to merge meshes produced from Lidar data that allows to tackle the issues of moving objects removal and static scene reconstruction at once. The method is adapted to a platform collecting point cloud from two Lidar sensors with different scan direction, which will result in different quality. Firstly, a mesh is efficiently produced from each sensor by exploiting its natural topology. Secondly, a visibility analysis is performed to handle occlusions (due to varying viewpoints) and remove moving objects. Then, a boolean optimization allows to select which triangles should be removed from each mesh. Finally, a stitching method is used to connect the selected mesh pieces. Our method is demonstrated on a Navvis M3 (2D laser ranger system). [Termes IGN] polyèdreRésumé : (auteur) Moving objects databases store and process objects with a focus on their spatiotemporal behaviour. To achieve this, the model of the data must be suitable to efficiently store and process moving objects. Currently, a unit-based model is widely used, where each moving object is divided into one or more time intervals, during which the object behaves uniformly. This model is also used for a data type called moving regions, which resembles moving and shape changing regions as, for example, forest fires or cloud fields. However, this model struggles to support operations like union, difference or intersection of two moving regions; the resulting objects are unnecessarily bloated and uncomfortable to handle because the resulting number of units is generally very high. In this paper, an alternative model for moving regions is proposed, which is based on polyhedra. Furthermore, this work develops an isomorphism between moving regions and polyhedra including all relevant operations, which has the additional advantage that several implementations for those are already readily available; this is demonstrated by a reference implementation using the existing and well-tested Computational Geometry Algorithms Library (CGAL). [Termes IGN] trace GPSRésumé : (auteur) Crowdsourced traces collected by GPS devices during sports activities are now widely available on different websites. The goal of this paper is to study the potential of crowdsourced traces coming from GPS devices to highlight updates in authoritative geographic data. To reach this goal, an approach based on two steps is proposed. First, a data matching method is applied to match authoritative data and crowdsourced traces. Second, for the non-matched crowdsourced segments composing a trace, different criteria are defined to decide if whether or not, non-matched segments should be considered as an alert for update in authoritative data. The proposed approach is tested on crowdsourced traces and on BDTOPO® authoritative road and path network in mountain area. The results are promising: 727, 1 km of missing paths were found in the test area, which corresponds to 7.7% of the total length of used traces. The discovered missing paths also represent a contribution of 2.4% of the total length of BDTopo® road and path network in the test area.
