[Termes IGN] trace GPSRésumé : (auteur) Crowdsourced traces collected by GPS devices during sports activities are now widely available on different websites. The goal of this paper is to study the potential of crowdsourced traces coming from GPS devices to highlight updates in authoritative geographic data. To reach this goal, an approach based on two steps is proposed. First, a data matching method is applied to match authoritative data and crowdsourced traces. Second, for the non-matched crowdsourced segments composing a trace, different criteria are defined to decide if whether or not, non-matched segments should be considered as an alert for update in authoritative data. The proposed approach is tested on crowdsourced traces and on BDTOPO® authoritative road and path network in mountain area. The results are promising: 727, 1 km of missing paths were found in the test area, which corresponds to 7.7% of the total length of used traces. The discovered missing paths also represent a contribution of 2.4% of the total length of BDTopo® road and path network in the test area. [Termes IGN] semis de pointsRésumé : (auteur) Climate warming has led to an urgent need for improved estimates of carbon accumulation in uneven-aged, mixed temperate forests, where high uncertainty remains. We investigated the feasibility of using LiDAR-derived forest attributes to initialize a growth and yield (G&Y) model in complex stands at the Petawawa Research Forest (PRF) in eastern Ontario, Canada; i.e., can G&Y models based on LiDAR provide accurate predictions of aboveground carbon accumulation in complex forests compared to traditional inventory-based estimates? Applying a local G&Y model, we forecasted aboveground carbon stock (tons/ha) and accumulation (tons/ha/yr) using recurring plot measurements from 2012–2016, FVS1. We applied statistical predictors derived from LiDAR to predict stem density (SD), stem diameter distribution (SDD), and basal area distribution (BA_dist). These data, along with measured species abundance, were used to initialize a second model (FVS2). A third model was tested using LiDAR-initialized tree lists and photo-interpreted estimates of species abundance (i.e., FVS3). The carbon stock projections for 2016 from the inventory-based G&Y model) were equivalent to validation carbon stocks measured in 2016 at all size-class levels (p 0.05). [Termes IGN] utilisateurIndex. décimale : PROJET Mémoires : Rapports de projet - stage des ingénieurs de 2e année Résumé : (Auteur) L’organisme d’accueil dans lequel j’ai réalisé ce stage est le Département de Seine-et-Marne. Il s’agit donc d’un organisme public qui a pour but de développer des solutions pour faire évoluer au mieux le territoire de Seine-et-Marne. Il est organisé en différentes Directions ayant pour objectif de travailler conjointement et de croiser leurs compétences de sorte à aboutir à des projets pertinents. La Direction dans laquelle j’ai travaillé est la Direction des Systèmes d’Information et du Numérique (DSIN) qui traite notamment des projets d’applications cartographiques internes développées par le Service d’Ingénierie et Développement (SID). Leur but est de faciliter la saisie de données des agents et de fournir une interface agréable à travers des applications orientées métier. La première partie de mon stage s’est concentrée sur un projet qui consiste à créer une application utilisée principalement à la Direction des Routes (DR) par les permanents de Viabilité Hivernale (VH) et qui a pour but de synchroniser toutes les informations utiles à l’usager de la route sur internet : état de la route, informations météorologiques, activation ou non des barrières de dégel. En effet, ce projet s’inscrit dans une dynamique actuelle qui est de partager l’information à caractère géographique en temps réel avec le public : en l’occurrence ici avec les usagers des routes départementales. Le partage de cette information est principalement fait au travers d’une carte et autres diagrammes statistiques. Cette application a en plus vocation à informer directement l’internaute abonné au service par SMS et/ou newsletter. Les autres acteurs à avertir en cas d’épisode météorologique sont les collectivités impactées : cette alerte se fait par SMS. Sur la seconde partie de mon stage, j’ai contribué à un projet qui a pour objectif de faire évoluer une application existante et utilisée par la Direction des Transports (DT). En effet, leur mission est d’assurer au mieux la desserte par les transports publics des seine-et-marnais sur leur Département en liant différents acteurs comme les communes, les usagers des transports et les transporteurs eux-mêmes. Ce projet a donc pour but de faire évoluer cette application en modifiant certaines fonctionnalités basées sur le Transport A la Demande (TAD). Note de contenu : Introduction
