[Termes IGN] signal GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Using the Doppler frequency obtained from tracking a GNSS pilot signal to aid in tracking another signal modulated with higher rate navigation messages in a different frequency band can improve tacking robustness and lower the message demodulation threshold. Based on an analysis of received signal frequency coherence, a linearized mathematical model of the cross-frequency Doppler-assisted carrier phase tracking loop is built, a thermal noise jitter calculation equation for the assisted tracking loop is derived, and its dynamic stress response characteristics are examined. The loop design requirements for eliminating the influence of inter-frequency frequency bias are clarified, as are the cross-frequency assist signal selection criteria. Monte Carlo simulations and preliminary field tests validate the theoretical results using the B1C pilot signal-aided tracking B2b signal of the MEO satellite in the BeiDou satellite navigation system (BDS). Experimental results show that the carrier phase tracking threshold of the B2b signal can be reduced by about 4 dB. [Termes IGN] transformation inverseRésumé : (auteur) Driven by improvements in satellite internet and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) navigation augmentation, the integration of communication and navigation has become increasingly common, and further improving navigation capabilities based on communication constellations has become a significant challenge. In the context of the existing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication systems, this paper proposes a new ranging signal design method based on an LEO satellite communication constellation. The LEO Satellite Communication Constellation Block-type Pilot (LSCC-BPR) signal is superimposed on the communication signal in a block-type form and occupies some of the subcarriers of the OFDM signal for transmission, thus ensuring the continuity of the ranging pilot signal in the time and frequency domains. Joint estimation in the time and frequency domains is performed to obtain the relevant distance value, and the ranging accuracy and communication resource utilization rate are determined. To characterize the ranging performance, the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) is selected as an evaluation criterion. Simulations show that when the number of pilots is 2048 and the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is 0 dB, the ranging accuracy can reach 0.8 m, and the pilot occupies only 50% of the communication subcarriers, thus improving the utilization of communication resources and meeting the public demand for communication and location services. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) The background noise in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) station position time series is known to be both temporally and spatially correlated. Its temporal correlations are well modeled and routinely taken into account when deriving parameters of interest like station velocities. On the other hand, a general model of the spatial correlations in GNSS time series is lacking, and they are usually ignored, although their consideration could benefit several purposes such as offset detection, velocity estimation or spatial filtering. In order to improve the realism of current spatio-temporal correlation models, we investigate in this study how the spatial correlations of GNSS time series vary with the temporal frequency. A frequency-dependent measure of the spatial correlations is therefore introduced and applied to station position time series from the latest reprocessing campaign of the International GNSS Service (IGS), as well as to Precise Point Positioning time series provided by the Nevada Geodetic Laboratory (NGL). Different spatial correlation regimes are thus evidenced at different temporal frequencies. The different levels of spatial correlations between IGS and NGL datasets furthermore suggest that some part of the spatially correlated background noise in GNSS time series consists of GNSS errors rather than aperiodic Earth surface deformation signal. L'analyse spatiotemporelle d'un type de commerces au travers des entrées d'annuaires demande cependant un travail considérable de recensement, de transcription et de recoupement manuels. Pour pallier cette difficulté, cet article propose une approche automatique pour construire et visualiser un graphe de connaissances géohistorique des commerces figurant dans des annuaires anciens. L'approche est testée sur des annuaires du commerce parisien du XIXe siècle allant de 1799 à 1908, sur le cas des métiers de la photographie. [Termes IGN] vitesseRésumé : (auteur) Understanding and modelling the properties of the stochastic variations in geodetic time series is crucial to obtain realistic uncertainties for deterministic parameters, e.g., long-term velocities, and helpful in characterizing non-modelled processes. With the increasing span of geodetic time series, it is expected that additional observations would help better understand the low-frequency properties of these stochastic variations. In the meantime, recent studies evidenced that the choice of the functional model for the time series biases the assessment of these low-frequency stochastic properties. In particular, frequent offsets in position time series can hinder the evaluation of the noise level at low frequencies and prevent the detection of possible random-walk-type variability. This study investigates the ability of the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method to correctly retrieve low-frequency stochastic properties of geodetic time series in the presence of frequent offsets. We show that part of the influence of offsets reported by previous studies results from the MLE method estimation biases. These biases occur even when all offset epochs are correctly identified and accounted for in the trajectory model. They can cause a dramatic underestimation of deterministic parameter uncertainties. We show that one can avoid biases using the Restricted Maximum Likelihood Estimation (RMLE) method. Yet, even when using the RMLE method or equivalent, adding offsets to the trajectory model inevitably blurs the estimated low-frequency properties of geodetic time series by increasing low-frequency stochastic parameter uncertainties more than other stochastic parameters.
