[Termes IGN] superposition d'imagesRésumé : (auteur) Even after applying effective coregistration methods, multitemporal images are likely to show a residual misalignment, which is referred to as registration noise (RN). This is because coregistration methods from the literature cannot fully handle the local dissimilarities induced by differences in the acquisition conditions (e.g., the stability of the acquisition platform, the off-nadir angle of the sensor, the structure of the considered scene, etc.). This paper addresses the problem of reducing such a residual misalignment by proposing a fine automatic coregistration approach for very high resolution (VHR) multispectral images. The proposed method takes advantage of the properties of the residual misalignment itself. To this end, RN is first extracted in the change vector analysis (CVA) polar domain according to the behaviors of the specific multitemporal images considered. Then, a local analysis of RN pixels (i.e., those showing residual misalignment) is conducted for automatically extracting control points (CPs) and matching them according to their estimated displacement. Matched CPs are used for generating a deformation map by interpolation. Finally, one VHR image is warped to the coordinates of the other through a deformation map. Experiments carried out on simulated and real multitemporal VHR images confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach. [Termes IGN] températureRésumé : (auteur) Separating noise, systematic errors and deformation components that are caused by different forces such as water pressure and temperature should be identified from dam deformation monitoring data to facilitate effective dam deformation analysis and consequently determine the potential dam structural damage. As source signals are assumed to be mutually independent, independent component analysis (ICA) can be used to separate the source signals from their mixtures. In addition to signal independence, another requirement of ICA theory is that the number of mixtures should not be less than that of source signals. Unfortunately, in most cases of dam deformation monitoring, only a single channel of observed displacement data is available for each monitoring point. Therefore, ICA with single channel data input (called single channel ICA) is necessary in the application of deformation analysis. In this paper, we apply a phase space reconstruction based single channel ICA (PSR-ICA) algorithm to de-noise deformation monitoring data and separate deformation components introduced by different forces from these de-noised data. A numerical simulation is conducted, and results indicate that PSR-ICA is an efficient tool not only for denoising data but also for separating deformation components caused by different forces. PSR-ICA is then further utilised to process the displacement monitoring data of Wuqiangxi Dam. Results indicate that the two extracted main displacement components are nearly consistent with the displacement components; temperature and water level are used as variables and are computed by using a regression model. Both numerical simulated and real life dams demonstrate that PSR-ICA is an effective tool for separating deformation components by different causative forces and is therefore beneficial to dam deformation analysis. However, in hyperspectral applications, the additive, multiplicative, and mixed noises play important roles. In this paper, we propose an antinoise model for hyperspectral unmixing. In the antinoise model, all the additive, multiplicative and mixed noises are addressed. To deal with the problems faced by LMM or NLMM and to tackle the antinoise model, an antinoise model based hyperspectral unmixing method is presented, where block coordinate descent is employed to solve an approximated L0 norm constraint, then a nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) method is presented, which is based on the bounded Itakura-Saito divergence. The experimental results on both synthetic and real hyperspectral data sets demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed model and the corresponding method. [Termes IGN] simple différenceRésumé : (auteur) We develop a new integrated navigation system, which integrates GPS precise point positioning (PPP) with low-cost micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) inertial system, for precise positioning applications. Currently, most common GPS PPP techniques employ undifferenced ionosphere-free (IF) linear combination. In this work, both undifferenced and between-satellite single-difference (BSSD) IF linear combinations of pseudorange and carrier measurements are considered. IGS precise orbital and clock products are used to correct for satellite orbit and clock errors. Rigorous models are used to account for tropospheric delay, ocean loading, earth tide, carrier phase windup, relativity and satellite antenna phase-center variations. To integrate GPS PPP and MEMS-based inertial systems, the process and measurement models are developed. Tightly coupled mechanization is adopted, which is carried out in the raw measurements domain. Extended Kalman filter is developed to merge the corrected GPS satellite difference observations and inertial measurements and estimate inertial measurements biases and errors. A atlab-based computer program is developed to carry out the tightly coupled integration. The performance of the proposed integrated system is analyzed using a real test situation. It is shown that decimeter-level positioning accuracy is achievable with both undifferenced and BSSD integrated systems. However, in general, better positioning accuracy is obtained with BSSD integrated system. [Termes IGN] trafic routierRésumé : (auteur) Monitoring vehicular road traffic is a key component of any autonomous driving platform. Detecting moving objects, and tracking them, is crucial to navigating around objects and predicting their locations and trajectories. Laser sensors provide an excellent observation of the area around vehicles, but the point cloud of objects may be noisy, occluded, and prone to different errors. Consequently, object tracking is an open problem, especially for low-quality point clouds. This paper describes a pipeline to integrate various sensor data and prior information, such as a Geospatial Information System (GIS) map, to segment and track moving objects in a scene. We show that even a low-quality GIS map, such as OpenStreetMap (OSM), can improve the tracking accuracy, as well as decrease processing time. A bank of Kalman filters is used to track moving objects in a scene. In addition, we apply non-holonomic constraint to provide a better orientation estimation of moving objects. The results show that moving objects can be correctly detected, and accurately tracked, over time, based on modest quality Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) data, a coarse GIS map, and a fairly accurate Global Positioning System (GPS) and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) navigation solution.
