[Termes IGN] Seine-et-Marne (77)Résumé : (auteur) Le sujet de stage propose l’utilisation d’images fournies par les satellites Sentinel pour l’étude de l’occupation du sol en milieu agricole. Dans le cadre de la refonte de la politique agricole commune (PAC) de l’Union Européenne en 2020, chaque état membre de l’UE doit proposer une réflexion sur de nouveaux modes de gestion. Une piste de travail envisagée concerne la déclaration des types de culture au sein du Registre Parcellaire Graphique (RPG), un système d’information géographique qui regroupe l’ensemble des informations relatives aux parcelles agricoles. A l’heure actuelle, cette déclaration est faite manuellement par les agriculteurs ; l’objectif est de l’automatiser le plus possible grâce aux images Sentinel. Nous proposons pour cela un processus fondé sur la classification supervisée de séries temporelles d’images Sentinel multi-capteurs (radar et optique), en utilisant le RPG pour l’apprentissage et pour la validation. Nous réalisons une étude sur deux zones distinctes qui présentent des règles agronomiques différentes (Alpes de Haute-Provence et Seine et Marne), avec la nomenclature la plus complète possible (28 types de culture), dans l’optique d’une implantation France Entière. Dans le but d’améliorer la robustesse du modèle, nous choisissons d’intégrer l’information relative aux rotations de culture (suite de cultures échelonnées au fil des années sur une même parcelle). Il s’agit donc d’un problème de classification structurée que nous modélisons comme un champ aléatoire conditionnel (CRF). Nous obtenons des résultats intéressants dans l’optique de l’automatisation du processus de déclaration : 96,9% de bonne classification sur la zone située en Seine et Marne (11 classes) et 64,9% sur la zone située dans les Alpes de Haute-Provence (17 classes). Ces résultats sont d’autre part sensiblement améliorés avec l’intégration de la structure temporelle relative aux rotations de culture. Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) La maquette 3D de Rennes Métropole voit ses usages se développer et se diversifier (communication, aide à la conception, développement économique, etc.), et par la même occasion, une nécessité accrue d'exhaustivité et de précision [apparait]. Les bâtiments font l'objet d'une modélisation régulière et fiable, ce qui n'est pas encore le cas de la végétation. Ce Travail de Fin d'Études a donc pour but de créer un processus automatique pour caractériser la végétation du territoire métropolitain en vue de sa modélisation, à partir des données disponibles et notamment d'un relevé LiDAR. Le processus adopté suit une approche très courante, avec pour commencer la création d'un Modèle Numérique de Canopée, qui représente la surface supérieure de la végétation après soustraction du Modèle Numérique de Terrain. Le MNC ainsi obtenu est alors filtré et pondéré par un raster de ses pentes, pour faire l'objet d'une recherche de maximas locaux (cimes d'arbres). Le MNC est ensuite retourné et segmenté par un algorithme de lignes de partage des eaux. [Termes IGN] surface imperméableRésumé : (auteur) L’artificialisation des sols est une notion récente, correspondant initialement à une préoccupation de quantifier les pertes de surfaces disponibles pour l’usage agricole par changements d’occupation des sols. Elle désigne aujourd’hui la diminution globale de la part des sols affectés aux activités agricoles et forestières ou aux espaces naturels, suggérant des dimensions autres qu’agricoles à prendre en compte. De ce fait, l’artificialisation des sols et les sols dits « artificialisés » sont devenus, notamment en France, un enjeu majeur de débat public et de préoccupations politiques. L’artificialisation du territoire, qui engendre une perte de ressource en sol pour l’usage agricole et pour les espaces naturels est ainsi considérée comme un des principaux facteurs d’érosion de la biodiversité. Le taux d’artificialisation des sols figure, depuis 2015, parmi les 10 « Indicateurs de richesse » élaborés par le Gouvernement pour le suivi de ses politiques publiques.
