[Termes IGN] surveillance d'ouvrageRésumé : (auteur) This paper presents the mathematical models developed for the design of a pedestrian, cable stayed bridge, the geodetic monitoring procedures and their detailed cross-comparisons and analyses undertaken during the phases of construction and at commissioning stage. Because of the asymmetric design, the relative flexibility of the pylons, the eccentric positioning of the central joint and the off-plane low angles of the cables, a multi-sensor, event based geodetic monitoring scheme was adopted to assess the structural integrity of the bridge. During construction, the bridge kinematics were measured along both sides of the deck and at selected points on the pylon facades using a digital level and a high accuracy total station used in metrology respectively. At a commissioning stage, a number of load test series were undertaken using conventional geodetic techniques and a tactical grade Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Analysis confirmed the overall mathematical modelling assumptions made for the individual stages of construction and for the completed structure. However, analysis also revealed the increased structural rigidity of the structure. This particularly applies for the torsional stiffness of the deck that exhibits low (by a factor of 0·5) rotation angles compared to those obtained from the analytical models. [Termes IGN] trajectographie par GPSRésumé : (auteur) Direct georeferencing with onboard sensors is less time-consuming for data processing than indirect georeferencing using ground control points, and can supply real-time navigation capability to a UAV. This is very useful for surveying, precision farming or infrastructure inspection. An onboard system for position and attitude determination of lightweight UAVs weighs 240 grams and produces position accuracies better than 5 centimeters and attitude accuracies better than 1 degree. [Termes IGN] simple différenceRésumé : (auteur) We develop a new integrated navigation system, which integrates GPS precise point positioning (PPP) with low-cost micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) inertial system, for precise positioning applications. Currently, most common GPS PPP techniques employ undifferenced ionosphere-free (IF) linear combination. In this work, both undifferenced and between-satellite single-difference (BSSD) IF linear combinations of pseudorange and carrier measurements are considered. IGS precise orbital and clock products are used to correct for satellite orbit and clock errors. Rigorous models are used to account for tropospheric delay, ocean loading, earth tide, carrier phase windup, relativity and satellite antenna phase-center variations. To integrate GPS PPP and MEMS-based inertial systems, the process and measurement models are developed. Tightly coupled mechanization is adopted, which is carried out in the raw measurements domain. Extended Kalman filter is developed to merge the corrected GPS satellite difference observations and inertial measurements and estimate inertial measurements biases and errors. A atlab-based computer program is developed to carry out the tightly coupled integration. The performance of the proposed integrated system is analyzed using a real test situation. It is shown that decimeter-level positioning accuracy is achievable with both undifferenced and BSSD integrated systems. However, in general, better positioning accuracy is obtained with BSSD integrated system. [Termes IGN] synchronisationRésumé : (auteur) Over the last decade, Unmanned Airbone Vehicles (UAVs) have been largely used for civil applications. Airborne photogrammetry has found place in these applications not only for 3D modeling but also as a measurement tool. Vinci-Construction-Terrassement is a private company specialized in public works sector and uses airborn photogrammetry as a mapping solution and metrology investigation tool on its sites. This technology is very efficient for the calculation of stock volumes for instance, or for time tracking of specific areas with risk of landslides. The aim of the present work is to perform a direct georeferencing of images acquired by the camera leaning on an embedded GPS receiver. UAV, GPS receiver and camera used are low-cost models and therefore data processing is adapted to this particular constraint.
