[Termes IGN] télémètre laser terrestreRésumé : (Auteur) If scanning total stations (TLS+TS) are used in scanning mode for high accurate engineering applications, the systematic influence of the incidence angle (IA) on the reflectorless distance measurement has to be eliminated. At present, methods for quantifying the systematic distance deviations under IA are missing because the measured points are not reproducible. In this paper, three such methods are presented. They are conditional on the used instruments and the required accuracy. These methods are validated with respect to specified framework conditions. The distance deviations are derived in all three methods as difference between the distance measured with TLS+TS in the scanning mode (DTLS) and the corresponding reference distance (Dref). The Dref is determined in three steps: measurement of a high accuracy network, measurement for determining the starting point of the Dref; object measurement to determine the endpoints of Dref. The corresponding DTLS and Dref are identified by means of the horizontal direction Hz (HzTLS and Hzref) and the vertical angle V (VTLS and Vref), both pairs of angles referring to the same origin marked by the axis of the common coordinate system. Depending on the used method, the Dref is determined with a standard uncertainty of 0.1–0.3 mm (at a distance of 30 m). The quantified influence of IA on the distance measurement of the Leica MS50 at a distance of 30 m to a granite plate varies in the interval of 0.8 mm. The strong variation due to the IA occurs from 0 to 20 gon, its effect is stable from 20 to 60 gon. [Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) Ubisense RTLS is one of the Indoor positioning systems using an Ultra Wide Band. AOA and TDOA methods are used as a principle of positioning. The accuracy of positioning depends primarily on the accuracy of determined angles and distance differences. The paper presents the results of accuracy research which includes a theoretical accuracy prediction and a practical test. Theoretical accuracy was calculated for two variants of system components geometry, assuming the parameters declared by the system manufacturer. Total station measurements were taken as a reference during the practical test. The results of the analysis are presented in a graphical form. A sample implementation (MagMaster) developed by Globema is presented in the final part of the paper. [Termes IGN] tachéomètreRésumé : (Auteur) This paper explores the astrogeodetic deflection of the vertical (VD) determination with a light-weight tachymeter-based measurement system called ‘QDaedalus’ developed at ETH Zurich. A description of the relevant components of the system is given to show the set-up and operation. The measuring process including CCD-tachymeter calibration and the astronomical data processing are summarised. The paper then analyses the achievable accuracy of VDs based on new measurement data acquired in Bavaria over several nights. Our measurements were executed atop a pillar on the roof of the TUM and at six stations in the Bavarian Alps (Estergebirge) with highly accurate VDs from previous digital zenith camera measurements available. Our comparisons indicate an accuracy level of 0.15–0.20 arc-seconds for VDs measured with QDaedalus. As a conclusion, our results show that the QDaedalus system is a promising sensor for accurate local astronomical gravity field surveys when a zenith camera is not available. [Termes IGN] tachéomètre électronique robotiséRésumé : (Auteur) The strict mathematical model of the mobile precise trigonometric levelling (MPTL) is deduced and its error sources are analysed in this paper. Some position sensors are added to instruments and observing reciprocal at the same time using two modified measuring robots so as to reduce the influence of atmospheric refraction, curvature of the earth and other factors. It is not necessary to measure the heights of instruments and targets by constructing the even numbers of observed edges to avoid errors of measuring heights. Experimental results indicate that MPTL has greatly increased the working efficiency and reduced the labour intensity compared with precise geometric levelling in the hills and mountains. A large number of experiments have proved that the standard deflection of measurement is less than and with an average speed of more than 7 kilometres per day in mountainous terrain.
