[Termes IGN] valeur aberranteRésumé : (auteur) In this contribution, the minimum detectable bias (MDB) as well as the statistical tests to identify disturbed observations are introduced for the Gauss-Helmert model. Especially, if the observations are uncorrelated, these quantities will have the same structure as in the Gauss-Markov model, where the redundancy numbers play a key role. All the derivations are based on one-dimensional and additive observation errors respectively offsets which are modeled as additional parameters to be estimated. The formulas to compute these additional parameters with the corresponding variances are also derived in this contribution. The numerical examples of plane fitting and yaw computation show, that the MDB is also in the GHM an appropriate measure to analyze the ability of an implemented least-squares algorithm to detect if outliers are present. Two sources negatively influencing detectability are identified: columns close to the zero vector in the observation matrix B and sub-optimal configuration in the design matrix A. Even if these issues can be excluded, it can be difficult to identify the correct observation as being erroneous. Therefore, the correlation coefficients between two test values are derived and analyzed. Together with the MDB these correlation coefficients are an useful tool to assess the inner reliability – and therefore the detection and identification of outliers – in the Gauss-Helmert model. The method is based on a robust adjustment of a linear network localised on the measured object and connected to GNSS-surveyed points deployed near building corners. In the robust adjustment process, the angles of the object physically outlying from their theoretical design values are detected, the remaining angles retain the design values. The performed field surveying experiment underlined the effectiveness of the proposed method. [Termes IGN] variation temporelleRésumé : (auteur) In this article the time series data of GNSS station coordinates are analysed, using least-squares spectral analysis (LSSA). One type of LSSA, the method of estimating a frequency spectrum, is the Lomb–Scargle method. Because of the presence of discontinuities in GNSS measurements, we applied Lomb–Scargle model for detecting and characterizing periodicity. We analyzed time series data from the station SRJV (Sarajevo), for a period of about 20 years, and BEOG (Belgrade), for a period of about 5 years. The spectral analysis is used to determine quickly the predominant noise in the position time series. Analyzed spectral indices of noise (α) of GNSS coordinate time series of SRJV and BEOG are in the range of -1 Numéro de notice : A2019-579 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Article nature-HAL : ArtAvecCL-RevueIntern DOI : 10.15292/geodetski-vestnik.2019.04.525-540 Date de publication en ligne : 24/05/2019 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.15292/geodetski-vestnik.2019.04.525-540 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=94467

For this purpose, the geodetic boundary value problem (GBVP) solution based on the remove–compute–restore (RCR) technique is used. In the RCR technique, a global geopotential model (GGM) is required as a reference to remove and restore the long wavelengths of the gravity field. Since the GGMs do not have adequate accuracy over Iran, the IRHD offset is not precisely estimated by the GBVP solution. In this study, aiming to improve the latter, a combination solution based on the GBVP approach and spirit-leveling/gravimetry (LG) data, called the GBVP_LG solution, is proposed. To obtain the GBVP_LG solution, gravity potential obtained from the GBVP solution and the gravity potential differences derived from the LG data are used as two types of observations in a least-squares adjustment. The proper relative weight matrices are determined using the variance component estimation method. To evaluate the proposed method, the gravity potential differences between the start and end points of several check-lines in the leveling network derived from the GBVP and GBVP_LG solutions are compared with those of the LG data. The results show that the dependency of the GBVP_LG solution on the reference model used is much less than that of the GBVP solution. In addition, the results indicate that the GBVP_LG solution has a 42% improvement with respect to the GBVP solution in terms of root-mean-square error. As a result of the GBVP_LG solution, the gravity potential of the IRHD zero point is estimated equal to WIRHD0=62,636,855.89±0.16m2/s2. Therefore, the IRHD offset with respect to the geoid defined by W0=62,636,853.4m2/s2 is obtained equal to −25.4±1.6cm, which means that the IRHD is 25.4 cm below the geoid. [Termes IGN] télémètre laser terrestreRésumé : (auteur) The target-based point cloud registration and calibration of terrestrial laser scanners (TLSs) are mathematically modeled and solved by the least-squares adjustment. However, usual stochastic models are simplified to a large amount: They generally employ a single point measurement uncertainty based on the manufacturers’ specifications. This definition does not hold true for the target-based calibration and registration due to the fact that the target centroid is derived from multiple measurements and its uncertainty depends on the detection procedure as well. In this study, we empirically investigate the precision of the target centroid detection and define an empirical stochastic model in the form of look-up tables. Furthermore, we compare the usual stochastic model with the empirical stochastic model on several point cloud registration and TLS calibration experiments. There, we prove that the values of usual stochastic models are underestimated and incorrect, which can lead to multiple adverse effects such as biased results of the estimation procedures, a false a posteriori variance component analysis, false statistical testing, and false network design conclusions. In the end, we prove that some of the adverse effects can be mitigated by employing the a priori knowledge about the target centroid uncertainty behavior.
