[Termes IGN] transformation canoniqueRésumé : (Auteur) In this dissertation, the motions of satellites affected by conservative and nonconservative forces in the Newtonian mechanics are interpreted as geodesic motions. The dynamical geometrical properties of the motions are analyzed. In particular, the motions of satellites in the Newtonian Earth's gravitational field are explained as the minimal geodesic flows on Maupertuis' manifolds according to the Maupertuis' variational principle of least action. The Euclidean space, in which satellites move, is a conformal map of a Maupertuis' manifold. The Maupertuis' manifolds are in detail discussed. Their embedding is solved according to the Brinkmann's embedding theorem and illustrated for the elliptic Kepler motions and orbits perturbed by the Earth's oblateness.
To solve analytically the problems of satellite motions, the conformal Mapping of type KS transformation is introduced. In particular, a set of canonical KS elements for elliptic Kepler motions is derived. By virtue of this conformal transformation, the equations of the Kepler motion are regularized und transformed into linear differential equations. At the same time, the equations of the elliptic Kepler motion are also stabilized. These canonical KS elements are free from all singularities which occur in the classical Kepler elements. Especially, the solutions of the perturbation computation with the KS elements keep away from the strictly resonancelike amplification. An analytical solution of first order due to perturbations of an anisotropic terrestial gravitational field, the direct lunisolar influence, the tides of the earth, the relativistic gravitational effects, the atmospheric drag and the direct solar radiation pressure is given and compared with a numerical integration on the orbits of GPS, ERS1 and LAGEOS1.Numéro de notice : 28049 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE/POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Thèse étrangère Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=63396 Réservation

[Termes IGN] satellite GPSIndex. décimale : 30.61 Systèmes de Positionnement par Satellites du GNSS Résumé : (Auteur) This dissertation will be concerned with a detailed consideration of the force field influencing a GPS satellite's orbital motion around the Earth. Special attention will be paid to the so-called "non-gravitational" forces acting on GPS spacecraft. Starting with a small introduction in Chapter 1, Chapter 2 follows with some basics that are generally needed for the mathematical description and computation of earth-satellite orbits. In Chapter 3, a detailed consideration of all gravitational disturbing forces, that are relevant for GPS orbits, will be performed. Concerning the orbital disturbances coming from the Moon's gravitational attraction, the formula for the description of third-body attractions of point masses will be extended to account for inhomogenities in the lunar gravitational field. Chapter 4 is the largest one of the dissertation and deals with different non-gravitational forces that may act on an earth-satellite, especially on GPS spacecraft. In the first part of Chapter 4, a general analysis will be done to look, which of these non-conservative forces might be relevant for high altitude satellites, such as GPS satellites. Based on a comparison and the analysis of different existing solar radiation pressure models, currently being used for GPS orbit computations, a new extended solar pressure model will be developed. Considerable improvements, especially in thermal emission modelling will be done. In addition, some further non-gravitational force components, coming from the emission of radiowave beams and of heat, are included too. Also the modelling of Earth- and Moon-shadow passages will be considered in detail, including cooling off - and heating up processes during - and after shadow passes. From its general conception, this new solar radiation pressure model is applicable to others than GPS spacecraft too. Chapter 4 ends with an application of this new, extended solar pressure model to GPS BLOCK I und BLOCK II satellites as well as to Soviet GLONASS spacecraft and a simple cylindrically shaped satellite construction. Chapter 5 shall give an overview over some principles of GPS phase observation evaluations. Such observables can be used for the performance of GPS orbit improvements and may therefore serve for the verification of the GPS force model fidelity. In Chapter 6 some numerical results will be presented. For the performance of the computations, a complete orbit integration program, including the integration of the variational equations as well as the selection between - and the invocation of different solar radiation pressure models, has been established, together with a GPS phase evaluation program. Both codes are written in FORTRAN language. Unfortunately, the GPS phase data provided to the author, needs a pre-processing with pseudorange data for the determination of satellite- and receiver clock behaviour. Since such a pseudorange evaluation program has not been available, a lot of numerical tests had to be dropped. Other numerical tests will be done, looking for some possible resonance effects that might come from solar radiation pressure. Further numerical tests shall give an insight, whether - and if yes - how the inhomogeneous lunar gravitational field may influence the orbital motion of an earth-orbiting satellite. Several constellations between spacecraft, Earth and Moon will be considered in this analysis. Finally Chapter 7 will give some conclusions and in this way finish the Ph.D. Thesis.
