[Vedettes matières IGN] GénéralisationRésumé : (auteur) Unlike road or river networks, railway networks automatic generalization are missing to properly handle the detailed networks provided in current geo-datasets like OpenStreetMap. This paper proposes automatic methods to automatically identify key structures of railway networks, such as parallel main tracks, or fan and pack patterns inside large train stations. Then, algorithms based on the detected structures are proposed to generalize the railway networks. The algorithms are tested on real datasets, including OpenStreetMap data. [Termes IGN] réseau fluvialRésumé : (auteur) In the representation of topographic data, the distribution of hydrographic networks should be constrained by the contour model’s landform features. During the integration of topographic databases, however, spatial conflicts may destroy these constraints, generating inconsistencies. This study presents a method to detect and correct inconsistencies between river networks and contour data by spatial knowledge. First, structured terrain features are extracted from the contour-based geometric representation and matching relationships between rivers and contours are constructed based on spatial knowledge of the distribution of rivers and talwegs. We then propose a distance metric for measuring differences and identifying inconsistencies between the matched river and contour features. Three correction approaches are provided for different inconsistency situations, including river adjustment referenced to the contour, contour adjustment referenced to the river and adjustment of both river and contour to middle positions. We apply the proposed method to the integration and maintenance of national topographic infrastructure in order to demonstrate its effectiveness. [Termes IGN] traitement de données localiséesRésumé : (auteur) With the development of GPS-enabled mobile devices, more and more pieces of information on the web are geotagged. Spatial keyword queries, which consider both spatial locations and textual descriptions to find objects of interest, adapt well to this trend. Therefore, a considerable number of studies have focused on the interesting problem of efficiently processing spatial keyword queries. However, most of them assume Euclidean space or examine a single snapshot query only. This paper investigates a novel problem, namely, continuous top-k spatial keyword queries on road networks, for the first time. We propose two methods that can monitor such moving queries in an incremental manner and reduce repetitive traversing of network edges for better performance. Experimental evaluation using large real datasets demonstrates that the proposed methods both outperform baseline methods significantly. Discussion about the parameters affecting the efficiency of the two methods is also presented to reveal their relative advantages.
