[Termes IGN] vulnérabilitéRésumé : (Auteur) The location of disaster management facilities is a challenging and multifaceted problem. The road networks, population distribution along the road networks, and disaster risk maps are the major components for management of this problem. This article aims to decide on the location of such facilities for flood hazards in a region. The methodology is based on a multi‐objective framework. Objective functions include edge importance indices under fair weather and elevation parameters of the edges. Multiple scenarios are simulated for varying levels of hazard, and the outputs are analyzed. Analyses are carried out for the individual percentage loss of road links. A case study has been presented for the Bankura District in West Bengal, India. The inferences drawn from the results identify the critical links over the road networks of the region. The study also indicates locations in the region for relief facility setups to enable best‐serving capabilities and provide safe shelters, even in the most adverse flood conditions. The article depicts the vulnerability status of the road networks of the region. Further, it identifies the locations for relief facility provisioning that bring out the best road utilization and the best‐serving capabilities within the flood‐affected area under different flood levels. [Termes IGN] trace GPSRésumé : (auteur) Pedestrian network information plays an important role in pedestrian location based service (LBS), and its completeness determines the quality of a pedestrian LBS. This study used volunteered data and BaiduMap to research how to extract pedestrian network information on the basis of pedestrian GPS trajectories. The method extracts human road information by three steps: cleaning track data, extracting the road network, and detecting and analysing the recognised pedestrian road facilities. Once the road network information is extracted, the information regarding road facilities can be obtained, e.g., pedestrian crossings, overpasses, and underground passages. This paper describes a new method for incrementally updating electronic maps. [Termes IGN] réseau de transportRésumé : (auteur) This article tackles the longstanding issue of intermodality head on. From a geomatics perspective, we model both maritime and road networks connecting port and non-port cities taking into account crucial features such as physical geography, shortest paths, and transport costs. This creates the opportunity to study a hybrid network – both planar and non-planar, and the centrality/accessibility of cities in this bi-layered network. Based on the case of Australia, main results convey new empirical findings on how port and urban hierarchies correlate with single-layered and bi-layered connectivity. We discuss main results in the light of network science, spatial science, and transport studies. [Termes IGN] système de numérisation mobileRésumé : (Auteur) The management of large infrastructures requires comprehensive knowledge of their characteristics and the elements that constitute them. It is essential to know which elements are involved and where they are located. At the same time also, it is vital to understand the overall geometry. However, it is difficult to obtain this information about underground infrastructures due to their lighting characteristics, hazards, lack of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) signals and time available. In this case, to achieve the required quality in both tasks, the mobile mapping systems that are widely used in large surveys and urban inventories have to be adapted to obtain data in underground conditions. To achieve this, geodesic support is necessary. Therefore, a laser scanning and kinematic photogrammetry survey was carried out to obtain the centimetric precision and complete information that is still used today. This paper presents an adaptation of these systems for use in the Ferrocarril Metropolità de Barcelona.
