Thalès Naval France, dans le cadre de la maîtrise d'ouvrage de systèmes complets maritimes, conçoit les consoles radar de surveillance où l'on peut visualiser la situation tactique d'une zone géographique considérée. Il est judicieux et intéressant d'avoir en complément de la visualisation en deux dimensions (visualisation de la situation tactique dans son ensemble) une visualisation en trois dimensions qui pourrait s'attarder davantage sur des détails ou sur le suivi de pistes. Ce stage a pour but de créer un squelette permettant de visualiser en trois dimensions des données. Ce travail doit dès le départ être intégré dans le framework d'IHM JAGUAR. Dans une première partie, ce rapport présente le framework d'IHM JAGUAR dans lequel la visualisation 3D a été intégrée. Les deux parties suivantes exposent les développements effectués. Enfin avant le bilan, un dernier chapitre montre des captures d'écran d'une petite démonstration de cette visualisation 3D. Cet ouvrage aborde certaines fonctionnalités avancées en recherche d'information : la rechercher multilingue, la visualisation de l'information, possibilité de filtrage et de classification. Le paradoxe de la recherche documentaire vient de ce que l'usager doit décrire l'information qu'il n'a pas. Il est plus facile aux usagers de découvrir ou de repérer quelque chose qui peut les intéresser, que de produire des descriptions formelles. Plusieurs travaux de recherche ont montré que les stratégies de présentation de l'information conditionnent les performances de recherche des usagers. Les systèmes de recherche d'information concernent plusieurs domaines : les applications classiques (GED, archives, bibliothèques et serveurs d'information), les bibliothèques numériques, la gestion de contenus (content record management), le Record management, la veille et la gestion des connaissances. Ces applications font l'objet de plusieurs publications.
