Due to advances in survey technologies, it becomes important to choose well-suited technology for a specific area. Moreover, various technologies have various ranges of equipment and manufacturers, as well as characteristics. Therefore, in this thesis, a proposed method of a hydrographic survey, i.e., identifying the appropriate technology, has been developed. The method is based on a reduced elimination matrix, decision tree supervised learning, and multicriteria decision methods. The available technologies were: SBES (research vessel), SBES+SSS (research vessel), MBES (research vessel), MBES (research vessel)+SBES (small boat), LIDAR (UAV), SDB (satellite sensors) and they are applied as a case study of Kaštela Bay. The optimal technology for Kaštela Bay study case was MBES (research vessel) and MBES (research vessel) + SBES (small boat) with a score of 0.97. Then with a score of 0.82 follows the SDB technology. Other available alternatives have a significantly lower score. It is a small evident difference between the three alternatives SBES (research vessel), SBES+SSS (research vessel), and LIDAR, which have a WSM score in the range from 0.58 – 0.65. [Termes IGN] station d'observationRésumé : (auteur) One of the main challenges in physical geodesy today is achieving the 1-centimetre gravimetric quasi-geoid model, since a model of such accuracy could be used in the definition and realisation of the height reference frame. One of the main obstacles in this challenge is the lack of terrestrial gravity data or its uneven distribution. Therefore, the main question arises: what density of gravity points is necessary in order to obtain a gravimetric quasi-geoid model with an accuracy of 1 centimetre or even better? In this simulated study, the results show a trend of decreasing RMS related to the sparser dataset used in computation, leading to the conclusion that the determination of the sub-centimetre quasi-geoid model is no longer a theory, but can be achieved with the exact density of terrestrial gravity data: gravity observation stations have to be distributed no farther than 500 m from one another. When dealing with a very rough topography, the distance should be even shorter. [Termes IGN] traitement de donnéesRésumé : (auteur) Laser scanning does not provide unlimited geometrical accuracy and integrity when scanning complex objects. Scanning systems have a minimum and maximum range in which they operate, depending on the technical characteristics. Scanning below or above these limits results in gross errors and registering of incorrect data. Laser scanners can have difficulties with certain materials such as marble and reflective surfaces. This paper presents the results of laser scanning of a complex monument of cultural and historical heritage using two different types of terrestrial laser scanners. Afterwards, the comparison and analysis of the results are shown. The scanners used were terrestrial laser scanners Faro Focus 3D (phase mode distance measurements) and STONEX X300 (pulse mode distance measurements). [Termes IGN] régression linéaireRésumé : (Auteur) Stjepan Glavač (1627-1680) produced a map of Croatia dated 1673, on which two meridians appear twice, 40°/51° and 41°/52°. The only written source regarding Glavač’s map is the dedication, which forms an integral part of the map. It does not say which prime meridians Glavač relied on, so in our research we attempted to establish what those prime meridians might have been. We approached the problem of the double longitudes using linear regression, through which we wanted to examine the relation of Glavač’s longitudes to modern values. An essential part of the research was a comparison of Glavač’s map with maps by his predecessors and contemporaries which show approximately the same prime meridians. The maps analysed, with their written values for the longitudes of certain places, indicated that the selection of prime meridians at that time was not entirely reliable. A further problem seemed to be the knowledge of the position of islands chosen as points of departure for longitudes. We concluded that the points of departure for Glavač’s dual longitudes were Palma, one of the Canary Islands, and the islands of Corvo and Flores in the Azores. [Termes IGN] réseau gravimétrique localRésumé : (Auteur) The paper presents the new joint adjustment of the Croatian First Order Gravity Network, for the first time adjusted as a whole. The adjustment involves absolute and relative gravity measurements, latter performed in the course of four survey stages. Firstly, the measurements are concisely described. Revision of the absolute and pre-processing of the relative measurements are briefly presented. The applied adjustment model is described. Accordingly, the gravity values of all stations (absolute and relative), corrections of linear calibration coefficient and linear drift coefficients are included in the functional model as unknown parameters. The absolute measurements are included in the adjustment as observations. The new adjustment resulted in significantly different gravity values as compared to previous adjustments (of individual stages of the network). The differences in gravity values are an order of magnitude greater than the expected accuracy. It is shown that the differences are mainly due to the errors in the gravimeters’ calibration constants, which were neglected in the previous adjustments. Because of the significant differences, the new linear transformation function from the Potsdam to the Croatian Gravity System is determined.
