[Termes IGN] tempsRésumé : (Auteur) The various needs of GIS applications require an extensible data model capable of handling both time dependent spatial and non spatial-data. OOGDM is an object-oriented data model developed to serve as a general base for GIS applications. Two- and three-dimensional raster- and vector-based data is supported by the data model. A SQL-like query language and a data defintion language have been developed for OOGDM. In this paper, we describe recent extensions to OOGDM to incorporate time into the data model and the query language.
