[Termes IGN] précision géométrique (imagerie)Résumé : (auteur) The aim of this study was to compare geometric parameters of olive trees (tree height, crown base height, crown diameters, crown area), using LiDAR data of different densities: 0.5, 3.5 and 9 points m-2. Two strategies were proposed and verified with a focus on raster and raw data analysis. Statistical tests have shown, that for the tree height and crown base height estimation, the choice of strategy was irrelevant, but denser LiDAR data provided more accurate results. The raster analysis strategy applied for sparse and dense LiDAR datasets allowed crown shape to be determined with a similar accuracy which means raster data are useful for estimating other indirect tree parameters. The quality of results was independent from the tree size. [Termes IGN] validation des donnéesRésumé : (auteur) Mapping from optical satellite images without ground control is one of the goals of photogrammetry. Using 8802 three linear array stereo images (a total of 26406 images) of ZY3 over China, we propose a large-scale and non-control block adjustment method of optical satellite images based on the RPC model, in which a single image is regarded as an adjustment unit to be organized. To overcome the block distortion caused by unstable adjustment without ground control and the excessive accumulation of errors, we use virtual control points created by the initial RPC model of the images as the weighted observations and add them into the adjustment model to refine the adjustment. We use 8000 uniformly distributed high precision check points to evaluate the geometric accuracy of the DOM (Digital Ortho Model) and DSM (Digital Surface Model) production, for which the standard deviations of plane and elevation are 3.6 m and 4.2 m respectively. The geometric accuracy is consistent across the whole block and the mosaic accuracy of neighboring DOM is within a pixel, thus, the seamless mosaic could take place. This method achieves the goal of an accuracy of mapping without ground control better than 5 m for the whole China from ZY3 satellite images. [Termes IGN] source d'erreurRésumé : (auteur) The ZiYuan-3 satellite (ZY-3) was China’s first civilian stereo mapping satellite designed to meet the 1:50 000 scale mapping requirements. We analyzed main error sources influencing the geometric accuracy of the ZY-3 images, and the error propagation rules of these error sources in image production. Accuracy estimation models of ZY-3 images without ground control points (GCPs) were deduced and the theoretical geometric accuracy of ZY-3 images was obtained. Without GCPs, 556 ZY-3 panchromatic nadir images covering 3,500,000 km2 of the Chinese mid-west region and 12 ZY-3 stereo image pairs covering 14,000 km2 around Taiyuan of China were used for planar and vertical accuracy verification, respectively. The experimental results confirmed the correctness of the accuracy estimation model for ZY-3 images. The accuracy results obtained through the model and experiment showed that without GCPs, the geometric accuracy of the ZY-3 images satisfied the Chinese stereo mapping requirements for 1:50 000 scale topographic maps Numéro de notice : A2015-992 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE Nature : Article DOI : 10.14358/PERS.81.12.927 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.14358/PERS.81.12.927 Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=80273

En s'emparant de ce thème, nous espérons avoir pu éclairer un peu votre lanterne.
