[Termes IGN] Yunnan (Chine)Résumé : (auteur) COVID-19 poses a major threat to global health care systems, and the recent surge in mortality rates confirms the importance of timely access to care. The capacity of medical service providers is reflected both in the spatial accessibility of medical institutions and in the spatial scope of their services. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the spatial scope of services and spatial accessibility of COVID-19-designated hospitals in Yunnan Province, China. Data are collected from multiple sources and included COVID-19 case data, road data, and data from designated hospitals for COVID-19 in Yunnan Province. The optimal spatial service range for designated hospitals is delineated using a weighted Voronoi diagram that takes into account the number of medical staff and the number of beds in the hospital. Traffic accessibility coefficients are introduced to analyze the spatial accessibility of COVID-19-designated hospitals, and the spatial accessibility of each designated hospital is visualized using the inverse distance weighting interpolation algorithm. The results show the following: (1) COVID-19 cases in Yunnan Province are concentrated in the central and northern regions. The largest single cells in the weighted Voronoi diagram are mainly Pu'er (59168 km2), Honghe (35569 km2), and Baoshan (46795 km2), and the time cost of attainting medical treatment is greater for residents in marginal areas. (2) Within the service space of designated hospitals, 90.24% of patients could obtain medical assistance within 2 h. Those in 52 (36.36%) counties within a municipal jurisdiction could obtain medical services within 2 h, and 76.47% of counties have above-average spatial accessibility. (3) Medical resources in Yunnan Province should be shifted toward the high-risk east-central region and the less spatially accessible in southern and western regions. [Termes IGN] précision du positionnementRésumé : (auteur) The search procedure, as a part of the Modified Ambiguity Function Approach (MAFA), is conducted in the coordinate space. The main advantage of searching for a fixed solution in the coordinate domain, instead of in the ambiguity domain, is the constant search space dimension, which amounts to three. In contrast, an ambiguity space dimension can presently achieve over twenty when the positioning is based on multi-system data. Thus, in the MAFA method, the computational complexity is independent of the number of satellites. We propose a new method of estimating the length of the search step. In this method, the actual satellite configuration determines the size of the search step. Therefore, the data-driven search step is always optimal, regardless of the current satellite configuration. The mathematical model of the new approach is provided together with a detailed algorithm. The numerical experiment follows the description of the search procedure. [Termes IGN] utilisation du solRésumé : (Auteur) The land-use optimization involves divisions of land into subregions to obtain spatial configuration of compact subregions and desired connections among them. Computational geometry-based algorithms, such as Voronoi diagram, are known to be efficient and suitable for iterative design processes to achieve land-use optimization. However, such algorithms assume that generating point positions are given as inputs, while we usually do not know the positions in advance. In this study, we propose a method to automatically calculate the suitable point positions. The method uses (1) semidefinite programming to approximate locations while maintaining relative positions among locations; and (2) gradient descent to iteratively update locations subject to area constraints. We apply the proposed framework to a practical case at Chiang Mai University and compare its performance with a benchmark, the differential genetic algorithm. The results show that the proposed method is 28 times faster than the differential genetic algorithm, while the resulting land allocation error is slightly larger than that of the benchmark but still acceptable. Additionally, the output does not contain disconnected areas, as found in all evolutionary computations, and the compactness is almost equal to the maximum possible value. [Termes IGN] transformation de HoughRésumé : (auteur) Trees are important road-side objects, and their geometric information plays an essential role in road studies and safety analyses. This paper proposes an efficient method for the automated creation of a road-side tree inventory using Mobile Terrestrial Lidar System (MTLS) point clouds. In the proposed method ground points are filtered through preprocessing to reduce processing time. Next, tree trunks are detected by performing a Hough Transform (HT) algorithm on several generated raster images from the point clouds. By initiating an approximate area of a tree’s foliage through a Voronoi Tessellation (VT) algorithm, the accurate boundary of the foliage is identified by applying Active Contour (AC) models. By extracting the points within this foliage boundary the geometric characteristics of each tree are obtained. This method was evaluated with two sample point clouds from different MTLS systems, and the algorithm correctly extracted all of the trees from both datasets. Additionally, comparing the calculated parameters with manually observed measures, the accuracy of the obtained geometric parameters were promising. [Termes IGN] transport publicRésumé : (auteur) The purpose of the paper is to create clear visualization of passenger traffic for Saint Petersburg subway system. This visualization can be used to better understand the passenger flow and to make more informed decisions in future planning. Research was based on officially published information about passenger traffic on subway station for years 2016 and 2018. Visualization was created with the variety of methods and software: Voronoi diagrams (QGIS software), social gravitation potential (R programming language), presentation of gravitation potential as a relief (Blender software), service zones of ground transport accessibility (2GIS, QGIS and Mapbox mapping platform). In this research, authors propose the use of intersection between the service zones and social gravitation potential isolines as an instrument for spatial analysis of traffic data. Analysis shown that current development of subway system does not correspond to passenger distribution. All stations were classified according to their accessibility and propositions about future directions of development were made.
