[Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) In recent years, aided navigation systems through combining inertial navigation system (INS) with global navigation satellite system (GNSS) have been widely applied to enhance the position, velocity, and attitude information of autonomous vehicles. In order to gain the accuracy of the aided INS/GNSS in GNSS gap intervals, a heuristic neural network structure based on the recurrent fuzzy wavelet neural network (RFWNN) is applicable for INS velocity and position error compensation purpose. During frequent access to GNSS data, the RFWNN should be trained as a highly precise prediction model equipped with the Kalman filter algorithm. Therefore, the INS velocity and position error data are obtainable along with the lost intervals of GNSS signals. For performance assessment of the proposed RFWNN-aided INS/GNSS, real flight test data of a small commercial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were conducted. A comparison of test results shows that the proposed NN algorithm could efficiently provide high-accuracy corrections on the INS velocity and position information during GNSS outages. Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] vision par ordinateurRésumé : (auteur) Centimetre level precision mapping is essential for many applications such as land-use, infrastructure inspection, cultural heritage preservation, and construction site monitoring. However, the acquisition and its preparation (in particular the setting of a ground control point network (GCPs)) are still expensive or even impossible in cluttered or dangerous areas. The recent development of UAVs together with the miniaturization of the sensors is a promising evolution for reducing costs and expand opportunities. The sensors embedded on the drone: GNSS antenna, IMU, camera and (optional) LIDAR are light and often low-cost. The low quality of their raw measurements must be counterbalanced by their rigorous modeling in order to obtain accurate final results: if we cannot expect the sensors to be error-free, one must model these in order to correct them. This is achieved by in-situ calibration or on a dedicated calibration field, together with a rigorous fusion of the raw data acquired by the different sensors with the so-called bundle-adjustment method. This thesis proposes several models to describe the behavior of the sensors, in order to hybridize them rigorously in the bundle-adjustment. Consistent datasets have been acquired on the field specifically to assess the relevance of both the sensor models and their hybridizing in complex photogrammetric processing. The contribution of this thesis could be divided into two mains categories. On one hand, this thesis suggests tools and recommendation to improve directly the procedures achieved by end-users using current UAV-mapping commercial solutions (in particular for the GCPs placement, for the choice of the camera calibration and model and for the flight-plan). On the other hand, this thesis put forward exotic methods (methods considered as exotic at the time of the writing of the thesis) such as Photo-LIDAR hybridizing and collaborative mapping achieved by a terrestrial-aerial tandem (a terrestrial vehicle holding a LIDAR, GNSS, imaging and inertial sensors followed by a drone conceived to proceed to airborne photogrammetry) or an aerial-aerial tandem (two drones flying in formation to proceed to airborne photogrammetry). The contribution of this thesis will permit to reduce costs, to improve the quality of mapping products and to enlarge the possibilities of mapping: in particular, map cluttered or inaccessible zones which are nowadays considered as difficult or even impossible to map. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (auteur) Techniques enabling precise point positioning with ambiguity resolution (PPP-AR) were developed over a decade ago. Several analysis centers of the International GNSS Service (IGS) have implemented such strategies into their software packages and are generating (experimental) PPP-AR products including satellite clock and bias corrections. While the IGS combines individual orbit and clock products as standard to provide a more reliable solution, interoperability of these new PPP-AR products must be confirmed before they can be combined. As a first step, all products are transformed into a common observable-specific representation of biases. It is then confirmed that consistency is only ensured by considering both clock and bias products simultaneously. As a consequence, the satellite clock combination process currently used by the IGS must be revisited to consider not only clocks but also biases. A combination of PPP-AR products from six analysis centers over a one-week period is successfully achieved, showing that alignment of phase clocks can be achieved with millimeter precision thanks to the integer properties of the clocks. In the positioning domain, PPP-AR solutions for all products show improved longitude estimates of daily static positions by nearly 60% over float solutions. The combined products generally provide equivalent or better results than individual analysis center contributions, for both static and kinematic solutions.
