[Termes IGN] Raspberry PiRésumé : (Auteur) La photogrammétrie terrestre et statique permet d’effectuer des relevés topographiques de manière rapide et relativement précise. Si l’on ajoute à cela des capteurs tels qu’un GNSS et une centrale inertielle permettant le géoréférencement direct des images, alors on obtient un système de photogrammétrie qui peut s’affranchir de points d’appui. L’avantage d’un tel système est principalement le gain de temps. Ce projet de développement consiste à utiliser une caméra omnidirectionnelle, un GNSS temps réel, une centrale inertielle et un ordinateur de bord. Ce dernier permet de synchroniser les données de navigation et ainsi de garantir une précision des nuages de points de 10 cm en 3D. Le support sur lequel sont fixés tous ces éléments permet une interopérabilité d’utilisations. Il va principalement servir de “backpack”, notamment pour effectuer des récolements de réseaux en fouille ouverte en garantissant de la classe A, ou des relevés de corps de rue entrant dans le programme PCRS de l’IGN. Il est aussi possible de réaliser des relevés de cubatures ou d’effectuer des compléments de photogrammétrie aérienne dont il manquerait des données. [Termes IGN] surveillance forestièreRésumé : (auteur) Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are platforms that have been increasingly used over the last decade to collect data for forest insect pest and disease (FIPD) monitoring. These machines provide flexibility, cost efficiency, and a high temporal and spatial resolution of remotely sensed data. The purpose of this review is to summarize recent contributions and to identify knowledge gaps in UAV remote sensing for FIPD monitoring. A systematic review was performed using the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) protocol. We reviewed the full text of 49 studies published between 2015 and 2021. The parameters examined were the taxonomic characteristics, the type of UAV and sensor, data collection and pre-processing, processing and analytical methods, and software used. We found that the number of papers on this topic has increased in recent years, with most being studies located in China and Europe. The main FIPDs studied were pine wilt disease (PWD) and bark beetles (BB) using UAV multirotor architectures. Among the sensor types, multispectral and red–green–blue (RGB) bands were preferred for the monitoring tasks. Regarding the analytical methods, random forest (RF) and deep learning (DL) classifiers were the most frequently applied in UAV imagery processing. This paper discusses the advantages and limitations associated with the use of UAVs and the processing methods for FIPDs, and research gaps and challenges are presented. The areas of application of these cameras in the world of intelligent transportation systems are becoming more and more varied: pedestrian detection, line crossing detection, navigation, …A major area of research currently focuses on mapping that is essential for localization and navigation. However, this step generates an important problem of memory management. Indeed, the memory space required to accommodate the map of a small city is measured in tens gigabytes. In addition, several providers today are competing to produce High-Definition (HD) maps. These maps offer a rich and detailed representation of the environment for highly accurate localization. However, they require a large storage capacity and high transmission and update costs. To overcome these problems, we propose a solution to summarize this type of map by reducing the size while maintaining the relevance of the data for navigation based on vision only. The summary consists in a set of spherical images augmented by depth and semantic information and allowing to keep the same level of visibility in every directions. These spheres are used as landmarks to offer guidance information to a distant agent. They then have to guarantee, at a lower cost, a good level of precision and speed during navigation. Some experiments on real data demonstrate the feasibility for obtaining a summarized map while maintaining a localization with interesting performances. This erosion could increase due to climate change leading to potential threats for coastal users, assets, or infrastructure. Thus, it is important to be able to understand and characterize cliff face changes at fine scale. Usually, monitoring is conducted thanks to distance computation and manual analysis of each cliff face over 3D point clouds to be able to study 3D dynamics of cliffs. This is time consuming and inclined to each one judgment in particular when dealing with 3D point clouds data. Indeed, 3D point clouds characteristics (sparsity, impossibility of working on a classical top view representation, volume of data, …) make their processing harder than 2D images. Last decades, an increase of performance of machine learning methods for earth observation purposes has been performed. To the best of our knowledge, deep learning has never been used for 3D change detection and categorization in coastal cliffs. Lately, Siamese KPConv brings successful results for change detection and categorization into 3D point clouds in urban area. Although the case study is different by its more random characteristics and its complex geometry, we demonstrate here that this method also allows to extract and categorize changes on coastal cliff face. Results over the study area of Petit Ailly cliffs in Varengeville-sur-Mer (France) are very promising qualitatively as well as quantitatively: erosion is retrieved with an intersection over union score of 83.86 %. In the last decades, 3D point clouds derived from airborne LiDAR have been widely explored. In this paper, we propose a building detection method based on K-means clustering and the omnivariance attribute derived from eigenvalues. The main contributions lie on the automatic detection without the need for training and optimal neighborhood definition for local attribute estimation. Additionally, one refinement step based on mathematical morphology (MM) operators to minimize the classification errors (commission and omission errors) is proposed. The experiments were conducted in three study areas. In general, the results indicated the potential of proposed method, presenting an average Fscore around 97%.
