[Termes IGN] trace au solRésumé : (auteur) GPS trajectory and remote sensing data are crucial for updating urban road networks because they contain critical spatial and temporal information. Existing road network updating methods, whether trajectory-based (TB) or image-based (IB), do not integrate the characteristics of both types of data. This paper proposed and implemented an incremental update method for rapid road network checking and updating. A composite update framework for road networks is established, which integrates trajectory data and UAV remote sensing imagery. The research proposed utilizing connectivity between adjacent matched points to solve the problem of updating problematic road segments in networks based on the features of the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) map-matching method in identifying new road segments. Deep learning is used to update the local road network in conjunction with the flexible and high-precision characteristics of UAV remote sensing. Additionally, the proposed method is evaluated against two baseline methods through extensive experiments based on real-world trajectories and UAV remote sensing imagery. The results show that our method has higher extraction accuracy than the TB method and faster updates than the IB method. [Termes IGN] WorldviewRésumé : (auteur) In order to solve insufficient training data problem in remote sensing, a web platform was created so that registered users can generate labeled data for various classes in a dynamic structure. Users were asked to select representative pixel groups for the forest, hazelnut, shadow, soil, tea, and building classes with the polygon tool, and then assign a class label corresponding to each created polygon thanks to the help document displaying descriptive information regarding the locations, colors, textures and distributions of the classes in the image. Crowdsourcing was again used to test the accuracy of the tagged data produced by crowdsourcing. The created data set was overlaid with the original WV-2 image, and the correctness of the labels of the polygons was once visually verified. Finally, the WV-2 image, consisting of 40 patches, was classified with CNN and an average of over 95% accuracy was achieved. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Pedestrian and vehicular navigation relies mainly on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Even if different navigation systems are integrated, GNSS positioning remains the core of any navigation process as it is the only system capable of providing independent solutions. However, in harsh environments, especially urban ones, GNSS signals are confronted by many obstructions causing the satellite signals to reach the receivers through reflected paths. These No-Line of Sight (NLOS) signals can affect the positioning accuracy significantly. This contribution proposes a new algorithm to detect and exclude these NLOS signals using 3D building models constructed from Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI). OpenStreetMap (OSM) and Google Earth (GE) data are combined to build the 3D models incorporated with GNSS signals in the algorithm. Real field data are used for testing and validation of the presented algorithm and strategy. The accuracy improvement, after exclusion of the NLOS signals, is evaluated employing phase-smoothed code observations. The results show that applying the proposed algorithm can improve the horizontal positioning accuracy remarkably. This improvement reaches 10.72 m, and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) drops by 1.64 m (46 % improvement) throughout the epochs with detected NLOS satellites. In addition, the improvement is analyzed in the Along-Track (AT) and Cross-Track (CT) directions. It reaches 6.89 m in the AT direction with a drop of 1.076 m in the RMSE value, while it reaches 8.64 m with a drop of 1.239 m in the RMSE value in the CT direction. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (auteur) Remote sensing technology has been frequently used to obtain information on changes in urban land cover because of its vast spatial coverage and timeliness of observation. Block-level change detection with high temporal resolution image data provides fine detail of urban changes, is suitable for urban management, and has gradually received widespread attention. High-dimensional features are required to express the heterogeneous structure of the blocks. High-dimensional high-frequency time series, namely, multivariate time series, are formed by arranging high-dimensional features chronologically. Classic change detection methods treat multivariate time series as univariate time series one by one. Few studies have analyzed the change in a multivariate time series by considering all variables as an entirety. Therefore, a graph-based segmentation for multivariate time series algorithm (MTS-GS) is proposed in this paper. Specifically, 1) we construct a similarity matrix to explore the changing patterns of multivariate time series for seasonal change, trend change, abrupt change, and noise disturbance; 2) a multivariate time series graph is defined based on the changing patterns; and 3) the corresponding graph segmentation algorithm is proposed in the paper to detect the abrupt and trend changes under noise and seasonal disturbances. Sentinel-2 images of the rapidly developing third-tier city of Luoyang, Henan province, China, are adopted to validate the algorithm. The F1-score in the spatial domain is 84.1%; the producer's and the user's accuracy in the temporal dimension are 81.8% and 80.1%, respectively. Seven change types are defined and extracted, showing the development pattern and the efficiency of land use in the city. Furthermore, the proposed MTS-GS can be used for pixel-level change detection and performs well under various time intervals and cloud covers. [Termes IGN] réseau routierRésumé : (auteur) Importing spatial open data in OpenStreetMap (OSM) project, is a practice that has existed from the beginning of the project. The rapid development and multiplication of collaborative mapping tools and open data have led to the growth of the phenomenon of importing massive data into OSM. The goal of this paper is to study the evolution of the massive imports over time. We propose an approach in three steps: classification of the sources used to edit features in the OSM platform including those massively imported, classification of modifications, and identification of evolution patterns. The approach is mixing global analysis (i.e. sources and modifications are classified) and feature based analysis (i.e. imported features are analyzed with respect to their evolution over time). The approach is applied on three datasets coming from OSM considered for their heterogeneity in terms of complexity, imports, and spatial and temporal characteristics. The results show that there is a sustained activity of edition on imported features, with a ratio between geometry editions and semantic editions depending on the type of the features, with roads being the features concentrating the most activity.
