[Termes IGN] qualité des donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) Comparisons between optical clocks with an accuracy and stability approaching the 10-18 in term of relative frequency shift are opening new perspectives for the direct determination of geopotential at a centimeter-level accuracy in geoid height. However, so far detailed quantitative estimates of the possible improvement in geoid determination when adding such clock measurements to existing data are lacking. In this context, the present work aims at evaluating the contribution of this new kind of direct measurements in determining the geopotential at high spatial resolution (10 km). We consider the Massif Central area, marked by smooth, moderate altitude mountains and volcanic plateaus leading to variations of the gravitational field over a range of spatial scales. In such type of region, the scarcity of gravity data is an important limitation in deriving accurate high resolution geopotential models. We summarize our methodology to assess the contribution of clock data in the geopotential recovery, in combination with ground gravity measurements. We sample synthetic gravity and disturbing potential data from a spherical harmonics geopotential model, and a topography model, up to 10 km resolution; we also build a potential control grid. From the synthetic data, we estimate the disturbing potential by least-squares collocation. Finally, we assess the quality of the reconstructed potential by comparing it to that of the control grid. We show that adding only a few clock data reduces the reconstruction bias significantly and improves the standard deviation by a factor 3. We discuss the role of different parameters, such as the effect of the data coverage and data quality on these results, the trade-off between the measurement noise level and the number of data, and the optimization of the clock data network. [Termes IGN] RTKLIBRésumé : (auteur) In this work, we investigate the effectiveness of a method leveraging multi-GNSS positioning with low-cost receiver to control the accuracy of a set of predefined points with short time acquisition and reduced sky view factor. Final accuracy is required to be sub-meter level. 20 positions located in Tokyo (Japan) have been observed for 6 minutes with a u-blox NEO M8T receiver and a L1-band antenna. Solutions have been computed with the free software RTKlib, for different combinations of satellite constellations. Eventually, we derived a probabilistic upper bound on the controlled points root mean square error (rmse) based on Rayleigh distribution and the central limit theorem. Results highlighted that completing GPS with one additional constellation may markedly reduce the predicted rmse as well as the convergence time. The gain in accuracy has been found to be more moderated when a maximal number of constellations is added, despite solution is reached much faster. We shall notice however that these findings may be dependent upon the selected mask angle for the computation. Some further analysis is also required to assess more precisely the respective contributions of GLONASS and Beidou systems in the overall enhancement. All global and regional satellite navigation systems, both those currently in operation and those under development (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, IRNSS/NAVIC, SBAS), are examined in detail. The functional principles of receivers and antennas, as well as the advanced algorithms and models for GNSS parameter estimation, are rigorously discussed. The book covers the broad and diverse range of land, marine, air and space applications, from everyday GNSS to high-precision scientific applications and provides detailed descriptions of the most widely used GNSS format standards, covering receiver formats as well as IGS product and meta-data formats. The full coverage of the field of GNSS is presented in seven parts, from its fundamentals, through the treatment of global and regional navigation satellite systems, of receivers and antennas, and of algorithms and models, up to the broad and diverse range of applications in the areas of positioning and navigation, surveying, geodesy and geodynamics, and remote sensing and timing. Each chapter is written by international experts and amply illustrated with figures and photographs, making the book an invaluable resource for scientists, engineers, students and institutions alike.
